Nice historical city, nice view point from the castle, but nothing more to see there, unfortunately the shops were closed btw 11-17o'clock, some restaurants were open to have a beverage. For short visit it is sufficient.

A beautiful town, with great hikes available in the area. There are also several beaches, although they require some hiking to get to, but are absolutely stunning. This is a lovely destination for out-of-season travel! We were here in March and it was perfect. We were warned that it becomes very very busy in summer.

Medieval village, well looked after, quiet, espectacular views from the castle, nice houses and stroll.
It depends of what you're looking for. I have heard is very busy during high season so, too small for a crowd. A car is needed to get there and to move around the area. However, parking facilities are scarce.

Cozy and cute with plenty of dining options and shopping. Great views of the Mediterranean.
Highly recommended for food:
1. Cuban Bar Restaurant Havana in the town center for dinner - great food, impeccable service, really nice and interesting design with the indoor and terrace seating.
2. Cap Sa Sal Restaurant for lunch or snack/drinks (Sa Tuna, 5-10 mins drive from Begur town center) - perfect terrace overlooking the sea and great seafood.

Going to the beaches and walking from beach to beach was very enjoyable.
We used the summer bus to get to and from the beaches, only one Euro, but the last day of the bus was 17th September so after that we took a taxi, 19 euro each way.
It wasn't easy to find a table to eat in Begur when we Spoke English, luckily my partners French is very good, we appeared to get better service when he talked French.

Beautiful old town with a huge variety of shops, bars and restaurants. Easy to get to the beach by bus. It's not great for cars as very narrow streets and I'm not sure about parking. Would definitely recommend as a holiday destination. This area of Spain seems to have escaped high rise buildings - it has a Majorcan feel about it. Definitely worth a trip!
Absolutely amazing boutique hotel. They have carefully thought about every single detail in the room and the hotel/facilities. The breakfast was divine: everything is source locally and there was great variety without having too many options. I also loved the host, Carla, and the staff working there who had a plethora of recommendations in the area which in my opinion were better than the recommendations online. All in all, I would def recommend this place and will def be back again.
The hotel is full of character, a short walk to the centre of Begur, a quiet location with private, secure parking (fee payable). A very useful welcome given by Miguel, to describe the area with maps & staff helpful & friendly. Lovely food, both breakfast, served on the terrace with wonderful views & quality evening meal. We used the tourist bus for access to various beaches, as parking difficult & reliable, cheap service. We would visit this hotel again if in the area.
The location is spectacular, and the facilities are excellent. It was a big ask to satisfy us after five weeks at some excellent hotels and private homes in Spain and Portugal, especially as we were joined by our daughter's young family at Aqua Blava. One could say the property is not ideal for very young children with lots of levels and steps but the playground and pool area, plus the brilliant wee beach below rooms 53 and 54, were excellent.
Excellent value for a 3 star hotel - great location if you're fit and enjoy walking since you can walk both into town and to the beach. Alternatively you've got buses and car parks around too. Photos don't do this place justice - the view from the pool and having breakfast on the deck each morning with 'perfecto' coffee from Turia and the team was a highlight. The staff are very helpful with advice. We loved Begur and this hotel was great!
We loved staying at Cluc Hotel. The hotel is very conveniently located in the centre of Begur, but in a street that is surprisingly quiet. The owners were lovely and helpful, and offered lots of suggestions of things to do. Check-in was contactless and practical. Breakfast was a highlight. Overall we would highly recommend staying there!
A beautiful hotel right in the heart of Begur. Our room had a patio with lounge chairs that had a direct view of the castle. The receptionist was extremely friendly and easily helped us with a taxi for the following day. The rooftop terrace was really nice too. Comfortable beds. Beautiful shared lounge area.
Loved the location 1 minute walk to beach and cliff walk along the Mediterranean one of the best ports of my trip to Spain. The staff was extremely helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Lots of Iberian ham breads and pastries were fresh Yum. Facility was laid back and so friendly felt like visiting family.
La Bionda is a beautiful hotel in a lovely location. We especially liked the size of the hotel and their attention to detail. Carla was so helpful and was happy to give recommendations and to make reservations for us. The breakfasts were fresh and delicious. We had the perfect time in Begur.
It’s a really spacious villa with a beautiful view. Waking up to this in the morning with a coffee is great. We’ve been in Spain a couple of times before, but this villa is really modern and fresh. The classical Spanish style has it’s charmes, but we like this more.
the location is fantastic and very close to the beach (5 minute walk). The pool is really great and has a nice view of the sea. staff is really great and helpful. Begur’s beach’s is great and very kid friendly due to lack of eaves and very calm water.
The view is absolutely stunning. There are beautiful small beaches nearby with walking paths. Apartment was clean and nicely decorated. The communication with the owner was very smooth.
It has wonderful view and hotel located just next the beach. The view from hotel became great memories. I love this hotel for vacation. It is one of must stay hotel. Thank you.
It is a truly beautiful place! We loved every aspect of it. Cherry on a cake is the restaurant of the hotel, which is probably the best place to eat in Begur.
