The Staff was very friendly and made us feel at home. The room, terrace, and common areas (incl. library & fireplace) were all clean, comfortable, and well decorated. The breakfast buffet provided a great variety and was certainly worth the value add. The location is incredible, with free (public) parking next door, we really enjoyed our experience.

Exceptional hotel. Beautiful building. Atmospheric huge room with beautiful views of the bridge. Staying over New Year we were worried about access to bars/restaurants and whilst breakfast was available and delicious there was no where to eat in the evening. We needn’t have worried, what a warm and friendly welcome and an opportunity to use the kitchen and beautiful adjoining room with open fire. Joining our host and fellow guests in the main square at New Year was quite magical. Add to that the level of comfort, the welcome our elderly dog was given and the beautiful town it was one of the highlights of our month long trip that we will never forget. We cannot thank the wonderful and exceptional staff enough.

The location is perfect, interior design was impressive if you like a vintage style, especially the tiles. The employees were all professional and accommodating. The room I was given was very spacious, clean and beautiful. I had a good night's sleep as it was very quiet.

A beautiful building right at the medieval bridge. The staff were all wonderful, very welcoming, helpful and pleasant! Our room overlooked the bridge and was well furnished and spacious. Very comfortably warm for December too. Breakfast was incredible! So much choice and good quality too! Good bed, good bathroom made for a very pleasant stay. The staff even gave me an impromptu rendition of Happy Birthday in Catalan in the morning, complete with cake and candles! So thoughtful and unexpected.

Hotel interior very nice and cozy, like old castle. View from balcony to the bridge was stunning. Breakfast very various, big and tasty like in 4* hotel. Location 2min from Besalu oldtown. Cats :)

Location was excellent. The building itself was charming. We received a warm welcome when checking in and some personal explanation about the history/decor of the building. Comfortable room with big bed, and a bath. Convenient parking right beside.
