The Ukrainian lady at reception was very helpful and friendly. I was walking the Camino and was unwell so rang and asked could I check in early and she was very professional and courteous. She seems to be the only member of staff in the whole hotel who speaks any English and is very hard working. In my opinion they would be lost without her.

The ideal stop over if you are in need of a recharge. Comfortable bed in a quiet vicinity ensures a good night's sleep. Full use of a well equipped kitchen which is spotlessly clean. The host was extremely helpful. Highly recommended.

The albergue was so welcoming and cozy. I came in from a hail storm and frozen and the owner was so welcoming and kind. It seems like this place attracts a lot of pilgrims from other albergue so you will have great company and conversations. My room was charming and comfortable.

This city has exceptional historic monuments and patrimony...
This city has exceptional historic monuments and patrimony that are priceless! So much history here, especially with regard to Sahagún’s essential and key role in expanding the European culture and Christianity during the Middle Ages! A truly culturally and historically rich city definitely worth visiting!
Huge room in suite, actually two rooms and a bathroom. It far exceeded our expectations. Beds were comfy and they were electric plugs aplenty, which is always great to recharge devices mid trip. Staff was very welcoming and dinner at the hotel was really good too, and well priced too.
Finally, Sahagun center, 5 minutes walk from the hotel is an understated gem, with an impressive mozarabic complex, set with monastic ruins and renaissance door, really visit worthy.
Owner Fatima and her staff are extremely welcoming and kind. We’ve stayed there twice on two different Caminos and already Fatima feels like a friend. The rooms aren’t fancy but are comfortable, clean, quiet, and wonderfully warm! Many other places we’ve stayed haven’t had the heat. Breakfast in the bar was a nice tortilla and excellent coffee. The location near two historic buildings as you enter Sahagun is lovely. We recommend a stay here!
Myself and friend were motorbiking. The proprietor was extremely helpful. He arranged for us to park our motorcycles in a secure area next to the hotel at no charge. Breakfast the next morning was good and cost only €5.00 each. Super value. The hotel is just off the Main Street in a quiet street with a small public car park only 50 meters away. Good to know if you are traveling by car. Hotel was very good.
We are two cyclists on a ride from Cadiz to San Sebastian. Our needs are simple we seek a clean bed and a hot shower – the hotel provided both
Reception was welcoming and helpful – The welcome was personal and friendly - The establishment is a walkers hostel and both food and drink was pleantiful. - the rooms are small but the showers hot - walkers sleep early and wake early
We expected a small hotel but this was a room in a large apartment with shared kitchen and sitting room. There were no other guests but it would have been a bit awkward had we been sharing the premises. reception was friendly and efficient, location very central to Camino and to the train station, great café very close by. very clean and quiet.
This hotel is very well located for a stop in Sahagún. It is easy to find and very close to all the amenities including a launderette. My room was comfortable and clean with a sunny outlook over the street. There is a lift to all floors. It was very quiet and I slept well during my two night stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
the lady who runs the hotel could not have been kinder. firstly settling you into the room well, pointing out the free and generous coffee/bread and biscuit options and then ordering a taxi for me. Furthermore kind enough to organise my accommodation for the following night. She was a star and it was much appreciated, thank you
Brilliantly located on a corner as you enter Sahagun, and easily recognisable because of its rustic look, this place is a gem. The owners are really friendly and helpful, the food is great - with a range of vegetarian/vegan meals as well - and the rooms are quirky and comfortable. Loved it and will stay again.
Whenever I go on my motorcycle tour of Spain I make a point of stopping here. The hotel is in a great location with secure on-site parking. The food is good, the rooms are spotlessly clean. It is worth a visit just to see Sabina’s beaming smile when you arrive. Looking forward to going again.
Nice location. Hotel is old but clean. We had three single beds in our room for the two of us. It was a little tight, but comfortable enough. Breakfast was limited so we opted for a bar down the street since we can’t eat gluten. They let us in very early (around Noon) which was very nice.
Hotel very clean. We had trouble connecting to Wi-Fi and only one of our party got access. Beds were basic. Very central but we didn’t realise all restaurants closed on Monday night. Lovely girl in Supermarket sent us to Cafe Europa where we got a tasty bowl of pasta and a warm welcome.
We really liked this hostal for our Camino stay. Sahagun is small and walkable. The beds were comfortable. The room & bathroom were a good size. The breakfast was just right for us: croissants/bread, ham, cheese, fruit, OJ. We’re not coffee drinkers. It was perfect for us.
This hotel looks very ordinary from the outside, but the check-in area looks almost like an architects office. The hotel seems almost new inside and has lots of beautiful wood with raw edges that adds lots of warmth.
The hotel has a central location in Sahagun right on the camino, which was convenient. The room was clean and quiet. The historical building with accompanying decorations gave a feeling of being in a different age.
The self-service breakfast was ok if perhaps a bit basic, but overall the hostal was comfortable and very good value. We received a friendly welcome and found the hotel staff helpful.
