- availability of taxis at front door - location close to trade fair and airport
- free wifi is very very slow (8 € a day per device if you want have nealry acceptable speed) - fitness center is rather small ( 4 aereobic machines) and you need to go out of the hotel to reach the room - dated furnitures
It´s a good place to stay when traveling: quiet and comfortable rooms, nice staff, shuttle bus to airport, good value for the money you pay
WFI and shuttle service from the airport
Location is far away from the center and 15 min from the metro Service was very unkind and not helpful. No structure or support for family. Possibly it's good hotel for business.
Despite the nice WC ribbon with the wording "hygenized", the WC without doubt was not hygenized enough - yellow drops on the porcelain were not mine.
Service, clean, comfortable
Speed of internet
Great breakfast quality Clean and nice room
Wifi is next to useless - Only Web browsing allowed (i.e. no Email or VPN) and painfully slow - 1 minute to open a page.
I liked the place, commodities, nice rooms...
i didn't like the cleaningroom team, i didn't like the wifi program..
The room was so comfortable, the shuttle service and the friendly staff.
Not goed conections to the centrum by public transport.
I spent 1 night at the hotel on the Friday 5th Dec. I booked a hotel close to the airport with free shuttle. Silken Puerta was a very good choice. Hotel is nice, clean, rooms are very well equipped.
BUT - the check was the worst checkin I have avert passed. Receptionist Laura was very unpleasant, busy with some paperwork, did not say hallo or welcome. I felt like I am disturbing her. For sure, I will not come back. Also checkout was similar. Lady at the reception even did not say Good morning or Goodbye. Why the people at the reception are so unpleasant to the customers at this hotel?
No tea or coffee in the room
All is great. Room,price,breakfast.Good choice.
Internet very poor.Bad conection.Free interned bad choice.
Helpful lady at reception. Comfortable bed. Close to conference centre and airport.
Grumpy barman, overpriced mediocre tapas and rather soulless atmosphere.Very thin unsupportive pillows. Long way from Madrid centre, where all the life is!
Good room with space and clan. Breakfast was also good
The only limitation of this hotel is its location. For someone visiting the fair Its location is very good. But you wish to be close to the centre of the city, it is ok If you do not mind travelling a little.
The staff was friendly. Really understandable. And the place quite nice
the transport back to the airport was going early. I could leave the hotel at 11:30. But I had to go early because after that I couldn't get a lift
- Good price - Clean - Helpful staff - Quite easy to reach the city center - No problem with parking on nearby streets
- Trip to the ity center takes time (30 min?) - Bit difficult to get some groceries in the area hotel is situated
Staff was very polite, WiFi was poor
The room was very uncomfortable
Friendly staff with good English. Hotel room is comfortable.
Location is a bit far from city centre, need to take 45 mins bus to city centre.
Clean business hotel, acceptable price
it is noisy due to the motorway too close and traffic during the night.
excellent comfort and near from the airport. Free shuttle is an option but you must reserve before.
No swimming pool, communication with city center is always with Taxi , location is near to high way and there are no out door activity being in an industrial zone
staff was very cooperative. Facilities were very good
they were not having pick and drop after 11.00pm
Bathroom and the breakfast
Beautiful hotel, convenient to airport
Hotel was very clean, nice staff, comfortable.
The wireless internet was pretty poor.
I was given an upgrade to a Suite as Genius Client/Booking.
Nobody took the time to inform me about Wi-Fi.
Staff at the reception were all nice and very helpful. They give you information and point out locations on the map. Hotel location is around a 45 to 50-minute bus ride from city center (Plaza de Callao). The area where the hotel is doesn't seem to have any shops, supermarkets, or any other facilities around. It was good for me since I had business at around a 5-minute taxi ride from the hotel. The airport Madrid Barajas is also around a 10 to 15-minute ride from the hotel. The hotel offers a free shuttle ride to the airport but you need to reserve it beforehand since it is a van that takes a maximum of 5-6 people.
Staff at the breakfast one morning however were not that nice. They were not in control of things and all tables were still untidy and with leftover and plates after some people finished early. There were no glasses and no cutlery and none were furnished until like 15 minutes later. Since this is primarily a business hotel, you are better off going to breakfast either very very early and towards the end of breakfast time to avoid the chaos that happens in between. It was too cold inside the rooms even though I turned off the AC completely and asked the reception to check if there was a problem the next morning. I guess it is just that the central AC was too strong. Wifi is not that reliable and it is a headache to log in since you need to input the username and password everytime. You get these at the reception and they are valid for 3 days and are only for one device each. The access is defined as (web access only) whatever that means (maybe they meant not for some OTT programs or downloads but I'm not sure). I couldn't use VoIP for calling through wifi but my colleagues were able to, so I am not sure what the problem was.
