I spent a very relaxing time in the apartment to the accommodation belongs a large terrace with a wonderful panoramic view in and over the mountains my hosts were very nice and accommodating. since I don't know french I was happy to be able to talk to my hosts in english. Vaumeilh is a small quiet place with very old architecture nestled in the mountains not far away from Sisteron

We needed somewhere to rest our heads for the night on out way north. It suited us very well. Lovely rural location. It looks like a converted outbuilding from the outside, no wondows. It has a rustic charm. Compact, but has everything you need for an overnight stay and significantly bigger than a glamping pod. Simple but lovely breakfast provided to keep us going. The breakfast was totally French and fine for us. The coffee was great. The hosts were the nicest people we could ever have met. They made us feel so welcome and could not do enough for us. They are the kind of people you want to be friends with forever. The whole house is incredibly clean and comfortable and charming. We enjoyed mornings and evenings on the terrace looking out onto the beautiful mountain scenery and the organic swimming pool. The bed was extremely comfortable; the shower was fine with plenty of hot water; it was cool at night so we did not need air conditioning.
