Le Clos Castel is a fully renovated 20th Century, stone country house, with six bedrooms sleeping up to 12. We are twenty-five minutes drive to the west and north coast beaches; where there are miles and miles of sandy beaches to explore and enjoy. Based just to the South of a protected national park with stunning views and amazing wildlife I fell in love with Le Clos Castel the moment I saw it. The farmhouse is a solid and imposing stone building finished to a very high standard, with all modern mod-cons. With great transport links it’s close to the D Day beaches, towns and nightlife to enable guests to benefit from the tourist attractions but still enjoy a peaceful stay. There are local and historical places of interest to visit close by, nature on your doorstep, a perfect place for walkers, cyclists, bikers, or large family groups wanting the peace and quiet that this beautiful part of France has to offer. I'm a British Army Officer, having served for over 26 years now since beginning my career as a Private Soldier always supported by my wife, Carol. We have traveled extensively. I am a keen cyclist (and John O’Groats to Land’s End veteran), ski instructor and Battlefield History student. I have established Le Clos Castel to offer its visitors time to relax, to re-connect with family or nature and find some peace and tranquillity in this non-stop, fast-moving world.

Things to See and Do There are so many places to go and things to do within a short distance of Le Clos Castel. The D-Day landing beaches of the north coast are within 25-40 minutes by car, the beautiful west coast beaches are within 20 minutes drive. There are many natural parks, historic houses, abbeys, sand yachting, horse riding, golf, fishing, walking, running, cycling, bird watching all available from Le Clos Castel’s doorstep, or you can chill out in the tranquillity of the house and grounds.
