I have created these 2 gites and 4 rooms to offer you an optimal resource. It is with pleasure that I welcome you with my dogs Twiggy and Iris in this haven of harmony, calm and beauty. I fell in love with this vast space and I wanted to honour the work of these men who spent their lives extracting and transporting the building stones that make the charm of Burgundy's houses. The name given to these four houses represents this intention to restore the blazon of the quarrymen: the Dovecote, the Foreman's house, the Master Quarryman's house and the Compagnons' house. I will therefore be delighted to tell you the story of this estate and to give you a guided tour of the quarry, its history and my gratitude for these men who make the word "Courage" an emblem. The Domaine des Carriers is not a hotel. We are a bed and breakfast establishment and claim our private status. The entire Domaine des Carriers is subject to the internal regulations available on our website, which you are required to respect. We therefore recommend that you read them carefully.

Located in the heights of the charming village of Chevroches (58 - Nièvre), at the gates of Clamecy, the Domaine des Carriers overlooks the roofs of Burgundy, the Canal du Nivernais and plunges our eyes into the horizon made of the last hills of the Morvan. This vast space includes a large building with 4 luxurious bedrooms and common rooms (a small living room, a kitchen open to a breakfast room), an independent gîte with two bedrooms (La Maison du Contremaître) and a second small and charming gîte with one bedroom (La Maison des Compagnons). Several gardens and terraces are also available for visitors. Free wifi access is available, as well as free private parking for guests of the estate. From family reunions to quiet retreats, Domaine des Carriers offers a variety of options to ensure your stay is a success. Take advantage of our infinity pool, with a panoramic view of the Nivernais canal, the roofs of Chevroches and the foothills of the Morvan.
