Le Moulin de Limayrac is an ancient watermill. It barn has been renovated to house 4 bedrooms. 3 of them are family bedroom. They all have a private bathroom with a large walking shower. The bedrooms can enjoy the view of the garden and a stream. The bedrooms are cosy and have been decorated using natural materials. Guests can enjoy a home made continental style breakfast with local fruit jams, specialities and yogurht. We are also pleased to offer our guests the opportunity to stay with us for dinner and enjoy the very best of local and French cuisine. We produce vegetable and fruit from our garden.
Guénaëlle and Gordon have been enjoying welcoming guests over 12 years. We will be pleased to advise you on local visits, gastronomy and walks. Arrivals are between 5 and 7. We serve the "aperitif" at 7.30. Please let discuss it if you can't make it!
The watermill is set in a rural setting. We are located near 2 of the most beautiful villages of France: Belcastel and Sauveterre de Rouergue. The Moulin de Limayrac is just 20 minutes drive from the ancient city of Rodez and 30 minutes from its airport. Situated in the heart of the Ségala region, it is an ideal location to explore and discover this beautiful unspoilt part of France: mountains, rivers and ancient stone villages are all close by. Here are some possible days out: * Villefranche de Rouergue and Najac, one of France's 'Most Beautiful Villages' * Conques and Marcillac * Bozouls and the Lot valley * Rodez and its museums (Soulages and Fenaille) * Albi, UNESCO 2010 World Heritage site and Toulouse-Lautrec * The Millau bridge and the Roquefort country * Laguiole and the Aubrac
