Excellent food, very friendly staff (felt at home, like in a family), very nice restaurant (great vegetarian meals!!), gave great advice what to do in the area, one of my best stays in Anglesey in a beautiful area!!
Pretty much everything.
we needed as a base and this provided a great place to stay. Kitchen facilities were brilliant and clean. Room was comfortable and warm. Could not fault for our holiday plans.
There was nothing not to like ....
it was ok for a nights stay, clean bedding and very good breakfast.
there was'nt anywhere to sit down in the bedroom only on the bed.
very friendly staff great location bar/restaurant on site. great for car ferry basic but clean accommodation family friendly plenty parking and camping areas.
We have a very nice stay, staff very friendly and helpful
The bed was comfortable and the location was quiet
It really needed a good cleaning and some of the common rooms have a bad odor
I was looking for somewhere to get my head down before going on to Holyhead, and this fitted perfectly. Great location for the port and excellent prices. Own bar on site was good , Irene did a great job taking orders for food then bringing it out as well as serving behind the bar. She also arranged for a continental breakfast for us but my wife was looking for it in the wrong room. Still never mind it was a nice gesture from Anglesey Outdoors, and I would certainly stay here again.
Pleasant comfortable rooms - well equipped kitchen - plenty of communal space.
Nice secluded location in rural Anglesey. Simplely furnished, clean and confortable about 30 minutes walk from Holyhead town Centre along very qiiet road with pavement. Ideal for a night to/from ferries to/from Ireland.
Internet very poor. Use McDonalds internet about 20min walk away.
We stayed the night before our Ferry to Dublin. My kids loved the cabin feel that other hotels couldn't provide. Game room was a nice touch. Weather was poor so walking around the area was not possible. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again before a Ferry Ride with car.
The room was basic, but very nice.
The sea/beach is not as near as I though. you have to walk at least 10 min on the road; you almost won't see the staff - not per se bad, but gives a strange feeling (you have to return your key in a drop-off-letter box, even in the morning between 8-9am...)
It was a great location, with a nice atmosphere
The room had a strange smell and the shower needs updating for £60 a night.
I was so delighted with my experience at Anglesey Outdoors I was self catering in a hostel for the first time EVER! I was very impressed with spotlessly clean kitchen, ditto bedroom, shower and toilets, but having met the staff I was not surprised..they really do care about your comfort Those staff made me so welcome and were incredibly helpful with information and maps...things to do, where to go . . . A delightful little beach just a 1/3rd of a mile away Anglesey Outdoors is perfectly situated even for the traveller with no transport . . surrounded by beautiful countryside yet only a 2mile pleasant walk into Holyhead itself... The Paddlers Bar onsite is a quirky little place and great to relax after a hard days holidaying. I can't wait to go back!!
what's not to like? lol
Clean comfortable and someone has obviously put thought in what to provide in the kitchen...it was all there. brilliant! Plus friendly helpful staff.
Good and clean hostel in a tranquil, out of town location. Helpful and nice staff, clean and simple accommodation.
Cheap and convenient - good common room and kitchen facilities
Very basic - a bit of a walk to anywhere if you don't have transport
The location and the friendly staff
No room service
It was in a nice open location with a great, fun bar-restaurant just steps away.
You have to rent your towels. I thought that was kind of strange.
so clean.hepful and pleasant staff.very good value fof money
Nice building Nice views Nice quiet natural location but also close to amenities
doors have tendancy to slam creating lots of noise/vibration
everything was great, location, staff, facilities, clean and comfortable beds and rooms and showers were hot and good!
The place is nice. Its clean and I like the design. The staff were very polite and friendly.
They don't have cleaning services in the room and they don't have towels.
Very friendly staff that went out of the way to help me.
