Welcome to The Barclay Guest House! Our beds are comfy, our rooms are spacious and en-suite and our breakfasts are home cooked and just right to set you up for the day. We've implemented some modern touches to the guest house which we hope you will appreciate and we are continually striving to improve on our green policy. With fast, free wifi throughout and those little extra's that make a big difference we hope that you thoroughly enjoy your stay with us. Most rooms can be reserved with or without breakfast. Room 6 and the two single rooms (3&9) are not available with breakfast due to limited capacity in the dining room. These are sold as room only with no option to add breakfast at the property. The Barclay Guest House is perfectly positioned - only a 60 meter flat walk to the sea front and it's numerous attractions including the pier, funfair and amusements. There are plenty of restaurants, shops, bars and even a multiplex cinema all within an easy walk of the Guest House. The Coach, Bus and Train station are also a very short walk from The Barclay. Paignton Zoo is nearby and offers a great day out for the whole family.

We are located a flat walk of 60 metres to the beachfront. There are plenty of bars, shops and attractions minutes away along with Paignton Pier and the amusements there. The bus, coach and train station is within 5 minutes walking distance. We are also located on the South West Coast Path which is the longest national trail in Britain at 630 miles. If you want a shorter option, we suggest the 3 mile walk along the beachfront to Torquay where you can visit all the attractions there or the opposite direction towards Roundham where you can stop by Paignton Harbour. Parking - we have limited reserved bay parking at Victoria Park Car park (50 Metre flat walk) as well as tickets for an open car park approximately 60 metres away. Parking is at an additional fee to your booking and is subject to availability. Please note that parking is free on the adjacent streets (any single yellow line) from 1st October to 30th April every year.
