I just would not advise anyone to stay there! ever!
This hotel has smoking rooms Close to New Street Train Station Good breakfast Fair price
My room was very hot. No ventilation in room or bathroom. I had to move the bed close to the open window to get just a bit of cool air.
The location of this hotel was good and this was my main reason for picking this accommodation. The price was good.
The décor of the hotel was very dated. During my stay there was street work going on right outside the hotel which woke me at 6.30. I believe this work is due to continue for several weeks.
A good Welcome from receptionist. Guy serving in bar very helpful in giving directions that I wanted. Night porter very polite.
Room very dusty. hotel needed a good clean. dark and dated.
Hotel very well placed. Clean rooms
Slightly dated but cimforrable
Only 100m from Birmingham New Street railway station. Tea-making facilities. Cleanliness of room. Room price, bed comfortable.
Noisy major air conditioning plant/fan noise (outside windows) made it hard to sleep well. Hotel a little tired and in need of a refurbishment. You get what you pay for though.
price,location and helpful staff.
Bed really uncomfortable, paid for double but got 2 singles pushed together, room really out dated and old!
The staff, central location in the city.
Very hot on first day as no air conditioning.
Well really cheap so if you are prepared to put up with a rather tired hotel then that is OK
Faeces on the bathroom floor, broken wash basin, grey linen
Location, location, location and price.
Big old tv in room and poor signal reception.

Given a smoking room
Very central close to the train station. Comfortable and clean room. Plenty of hot water Value for money.
They are digging up the road out side to put tram lines in and they work all night. You need to be someone who can sleep though anything .the hotel is dated and tatty needs a fortune spending on it
Perfect location for station (5min walk) and moments from the bullring. Reasonable size rooms with fridge and spa bath
Hard uncomfortable bed

Location was great.
Really in need of a makeover
Impersonal, shabby - and the lift didn't work.
location. bathroom and bedroom ok .
Aircon lacking. walls very thin . lot of noise in hotel. Unable to get a bottle of water at ten thirty at night. Public areas need cleaning. Carpets filthy. One Lift not working, long delays. Paintwork bad.
Great location for all amenities particularly New St Station. Excellent buffet dinner at night for budget price. Great all you can eat breakfast.
Clean. Central location not far from Birmingham New Street station.
Noisy due to banging doors. Entrance was smelly. Mattress was basic.
