    The location was wonderful, especially the small lake ,very relaxing. You were not far away from the coast etc. The host was lovely and very helpful. The beds were very comfortable. The granary was well equipped.

    The property is quiet and secluded, perfect to get away but near enough to visit the main sites. The enclosed garden meant it was safe to leave the dogs outside. Fresh bread and eggs were a bonus, thanks Donna.

The Granary is a dog friendly cottage and converted granary situated on a rural smallholding at the end of a lane and is surrounded by farmland. We have our own borehole and well. The woodland is coppiced to provide The Granary with seasoned logs for the log burner. I work with my guests to be self sufficient using the 4KW solar set up The Granary has on the long barn. It has its own private enclosed garden looking out onto the orchard. The smallholding sits in seven acres and comprises a pond of around one acre, an orchard, woodland and fields and a babbling brook runs right through the middle. A bridleway runs alongside the smallholding providing easy access for walking and horse riding. The poultry free range and provide us with fresh eggs 😄
We are at the end of a 1 mile track surrounded by fields and streams with no near neighbours. It is a beautiful part of the world. We are at the end of a one mile track with complete privacy and tranquility. Lots of parking and space.
