Location near the tube. Convenience stores and bakery nearby. Easy walk to major points of interest in London. We also enjoyed eating our dinner at the hotel restaurant each night. Excellent food and service! The hotel is just across the street from the Imperial War Museum and we had a picnic lunch on the grounds there after touring the Museum. The Museum entrance was free! Need better bed pillows or additional ones. The ones that were provided wsere very flat. Also, no lotion or shampoo was provided. There was no way to indicate that the bed linens did not need to be changed each day. We were there for 8 nights and did not need daily change of bed linens. Perhaps a card indicating that no change was needed could be provided.

Hotel staff were exceptionally polite to my yong son and i upon our arrival which set the benchmark for the remainder of our stay. The hotel staff did not drop below this benchmark during our stay. The quality of service and helpfulness of the staff extended throughout the entire hotel including restaurant staff. The only downside to our stay was that the restaurant was very busy at breakfast time but the hotel cannot be critisised if everyone staying at the hotel decides its breakfast time.

Superb location: a stonesthrow from Westminster, the West End and all the sights. Nothing flash, but very affordable and clean. The staff were pleasant, courteous and helpful. The full English breakfast was well cooked and the portions were a good size. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to London and will recommend the hotel to friends.

We know the hotel. It's location is great and staff friendly. Breakfast gives a good choice. Rooms are comfortable. There was a problem with the first room we were allocated but we were moved quickly without any fuss. The only downside is it's a bit noisy but for central London, you can't really expect peace and quiet! They could perhaps replace the rather aged double-glazing with something more efficient. This time it was a little more expensive than usual. We can normally book it for around £80 - could only get it for £100 this time.

The location and price were very appealling. We were attending a wedding so, getting around London by public transport was important to us. We were not let down as the tube stationn was 2 mins walk away and the bus stop was virtually outside the hotel. The staff in the hotel were very friendly, professional and helpful throughout our stay. We have stayed in Days inn Liverpool and we enjoyed ouir stay there also. We would without doubt recommend Days Inn hotels to friends and family amd look forward to staying with Days inn again in the future Could not fault this hotel

Basic but clean. Comfortable. Good location for the embankment. Attitude of staff. When we arrive at the hotel there had been a mix up with our rooms. This was the hotels fault as they had got room cards mixed up they said. The young man behind the desk did not apologise that we had to wait twenty minutes. He made not attempt to be friendly or welcoming and we were not offered anything for our inconvenience. For this reason alone, I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. People in customer service jobs should be able to deal with people in a friendly, postive way.

The location was excellent (close to the Young Vic which is what we needed), near to the Imperial War museum and also a short walk across waterloo bridge and along embankment to Parliament, St James' Park, Downing Street - didn't need the tube once!

We were actually bedside a family member in the St Thomas's hospital for two weeks and had to hotel hop because of christmas trade. We would antiicipate further stays at days when things are better- even countrywide. We were very comfortable there. Thank you so much Mavis Collard

Didn't like the proximity to Lambeth police station as the noise distracts from an otherwise peaceful hotel ( maybe a grant can be obtained from London Met towards triple glazing ! )

Ideally situated for local attractions, for example westminster and the london eye, and 5 minutes walk from the tube so easy access to the underground network. Clean hotel with plenty of basic facilities - inhouse restaurant and bar, internet access etc

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at the Days Waterloo and the location is great ... its a nice walk across the river to the Westminster area and the Lambeth Tube station is only up the street. There are many convenient bus stops nearby as well. The staff is friendly and eager to help with directions and there is an "adequate" continental breakfast included. For 2 pounds you can also get a very good hot breakfast. The hotel is a little dated and could use some updating. Our room was a little chilly since the window didn't close properly and there was a musty smell in the hallway. None of this would deter me from staying there again.
