Huberts suite is full of character. It has its own entrance and is on the ground floor of our Somerset longhouse and is generously sized. The property built around 1650, has listed status and is full of character with wonky walls, beams, inglenook fireplaces and interesting architecture. Situated on the outskirts of a small village and the edge of the Somerset levels we are ideally situated for sightseeing around Somerset. We have a lovely garden with plenty of places for you to sit and enjoy it.
Home cooking and fresh local produce and gardening is my thing. On arrival you will be welcomed by some home baking and locally sourced beverages which you can either have in your room, or if the weather allows, why not take them into the garden, find a seat and enjoy there!
We are situated on the edge of the Somerset levels. A perfect spot for birdwatching, walking and cycling. Just 10 minutes from M5, 1.5 miles from the village of Mark or 2 miles from Wedmore. Wells, Cheddar, Glastonbury and the coast are all around 7 miles away. Our very friendly small village has a pub within walking distance. One of the dairy farms sells fresh milk and some local produce, there is also a small family shop about 1 mile away.
