Staff were very helpful and attentive even with a wedding on. Food was very good, lovely breakfast.
The room was boiling at night even with he window open. Bed seemed small.
location location location
Stained carpets greated entry. No hair dryer. Blocked shower waste created a shower timer.
All the staff were most helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The beds were extremely comfortable.
gave my carer and I a twin room upgrade.
No twin disabled rooms available - I was travelling with a carer and a double bed would have been inappropriate, so could not access the shower as it had no grab rails.
Very comfortable, well equipped bedroom (330) upgraded since we last stayed at The Lincoln. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. First-rate breakfast.
The only criticism was that the hairdryer in the bedroom door was cracked and could possibly be a safety risk.
Great location just next to cathedral and a short walk to shops and restaurants.
It wasn't a bad experience per se but we were taken back a little by gate crashing a wedding reception as we walked into the hotel to check in. The wedding reception didn't affect noise levels in our bed room but it did make the decision whether to have an evening meal at the hotel or in town very easy.
It was a few minutes walk away from the centre of Lincoln and all the attractions. This hotel is lovely and modern inside and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Good breakfast, buffet style.
The location was brilliant right next to the Cathedral. Good value for money and the breakfast which was included was excellent.
Room was really quite small and the mattress on the bed could have been better. The bathroom was an excellent size though. Paint the wall white or cream instead of brown. It makes the room look bigger and also less dark.
The location so close to the cathedral and a short walk to the town. wifi was excellent and the room was very well equipped.
the bed wasn't very comfy Our room had a view of the car park.
cask ales music in the bar
breakfast service poor scrambled egg runny
we picked the right hotel for the best area in lincoln - handy for good eating places and short walk to cathedral and castle areas
sorry that the castle closed whilst we were there
My wife loved the bedroom , Oh ,and the beautiful breakfast.. Great view too .Cathedral lit up opposite ….Oh me oh my !!!
All staff members were completely helpful, friendly and courteous.
Bar greatly over-priced, taking the mickey out of a captive audience. I was with my elderly, largely immobile parents. Nipping out to the pub round the corner simply isn't an option - but they (we) still enjoy a drink.
We asked to be moved to room with a bigger bed. And we were moved to the more modern side of the hotel. Room was bright and bed larger and comfortable. Breakfast was good and selection was wide.
Originally booked into the older part of hotel , with a small room.(but clean and recently redecorated.) However corridors in this part of the hotel are tired, dingy, and no lift. (Ask for your booking to be in the more modern part of hotel)
The location was amazing, and we were upgraded to a superior garden room, with a huge and very comfortable bed and a patio door with a table and chairs outside - just wish it had been in summer! Breakfast was very good, with some unusual options to order. Amazing value.
Excellent location, friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms
Good location excellent breakfast
rooms small and could do with updating .
Breakfast and staff was very nice
Bed was uncomfortable. Couple next to us making noise til 5am kept us awake
In Fairness i have stayed her a few times, the staff (front of house and day to day staff ) are excellent, the management........ well
I stayed last week for 3 nights, dont stay in room 325 or close by, proberbly the smae on second floor rooms below these. There is a central fan that drones on all night, couldnt sleep the first night no room change till morning £15 refund against no sleep, wont stay there again
Handy location for the historic upper town and more than adequate parking.
Draught real ale was served warm and clearly without adequate knowledge of the bar staff on how to serve it to be enjoyed in good condition.
evening meal poor.
Location was nice although very steep to walk down and up hill
Bed springs could be felt, wife didn't have a good sleep
