Mirandas is such a lovely guest house - exceptionally clean, lovely, welcoming atmosphere plus I had two very comfortable nights sleep. For the shared facilities - they are well thought out with two showers and toilets near the rooms. I didn’t have to wait to use the facilities at any point even though there were other guests staying. Refreshments (tea, coffee etc) available in the dining area for the duration Rob is an amazing host - pleasant, helpful, attentive and informative. Nothing is too much trouble and I have to say his breakfast was perfect! ‘Powered by Rob’ as it states in the sign outside is definitely true! I would (and hopefully will) 100% stay here again!

A lovely, cosy Bed and Breakfast. We arrived on a very rainy day and were relieved our room was ready on arrival (even though we arrived before 4pm) It was very clean and the room was perfect for us.

It's a very good price and offers clean no-frills facilities. The manager is very friendly and helpful and it's centrally located. The breakfast is excellent.

We arrived quite a bit earlier than planned and enquired if we would be able to park somewhere nearby acknowledging we were there way before our check in time. The host, Robin was very helpful and allowed us to check in early and access their free car parking. The B&B was just what we were hoping for, clean, tidy and Robin was the perfect host. Whilst the facilities were shared, there were two toilets and two showers which was sufficient for all guests and all were immaculate. Our room also had a sink which was an extra bonus. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Will stay again.

Miranda was an absolute cracker. I warned her my partner and I needed late entry due to a film screening at the festival (arriving on the train from London just in time for it), and that my boyfriend—a big man, and of colour—tended to get a little loose with the night anyway.. but with the double whammy of acute anxiety disorder and fear of rail travel: yikes. A little trepidatious at first, Miranda buzzed us in well after midnight and her and her two sons helped my boyfriend up the stairs. A large plate of chocolate biscuits waited for us, and the younger one went out specially so that we could have lucozade with our morning eggs (a magnificent breakfast with fried bread and cherry toms on the side, and very comfy [twin by preference] beds). Will definitely be back (whether or not Miranda will be glad to see us is another thing!).

Affordable, clean and conveniently located accommodation. Robin was incredibly accommodating and kind. The full english breakfast he cooked (which was included in the price of the stay) was delicious.

Robin was a fantastic host, very welcoming and nothing too much trouble. I don't normally review but was compelled to support Robin and his business. I arrived by bike late in the day and Robin carried my bike and set about trying to dry all my various items of kit. Breakfast was great, freshly cooked. The rooms were basic and the bathroom is shared but it was clean and comfortable, and reflected in the good value price
