Good British breakfast, that our 14-year boy just loved! Breakfast from 7-9, a little packed after 8 but cosy before 8. Room was very small, beads and sink were the only furniture but those were quite enough. Two showers and two toilettes in the hallway.Pancras/ The staff was very helpful. Wonderful location just couple of minutes walk to St. Pancras and King's Cross, and from there direct route to all over the city, including Heathrow Airport to Hotel!! Wlan (WiFi) wireless network did not work in the room, we had to go to elsewhere for Internet access.

Very good service, open 24/24h Luggage storage is free Good location, 5min walk from St Pancras station Clean, simple room, very comfortable bed Lots of stairs, and narrow staircases, may be difficult to manage with heavy or big suitcases... We did manage, though.

Nice to have a full English breakfast in a small hotel. The wi-fi did not work in my room, and was patchy when I used it in the kitchen.

Location is excellent - Got off the train at Kings Cross and had to walk about 2 minutes to the hotel, very handy for rail/underground. The room was tidy enough, certainly value for money especially in Central London. Staff all very friendly and helpful, could not complain as we had a very enjoyable stay. No real faults to report on, apparently the dining room is small (I never personally went for breakfast but my friends couldn't get seated when they went down) but hardly worth a mention!

Location Everything else was of poor quality, would never say at the Montana ever again. Room was very small and down in the basement, it was like being in a prison. When you opened the curtains, which were half hanging off, you looked straight into another room. The room was very hot and stuffy and the smell of Domestos was overpowering. Did not dare use the shower as the floor was covered in black mould. The cooked breakfast was luke warm so did not eat any. The staff were clearly not happy in their work as this reflected on lack of Customer Service.

Good price for the location. Literally under five minute walk to St. Pancras Station for the Eurostar. Ideal for a transfer or stopover, but probably not for much longer. Woke up in the morning to find the counter attendant sleeping behind the counter. Not all bad, but a little weird. Small room with confusing passageways and stairs. No early opportunity for breakfast for earliest Eurostar departures.

I liked that it is localized in a traditional British tenement house near the place where I had my meeting. I didn't like the feeling that I would like to cover the sheets in bed with something and that I was not comfortable using hotel towels, and that I would get a fungal infection if I place my bare feet on the ground.

Excellent location within 2 mins from kings cross and St Pancras and easy walking distance from Euston rail stations. Polite friendly staff a great base for a budget break No toilet in the en suite facility resulting in use of shared toilets which were clean but would have preferred own facilities.

I loved the hotel's location - central to St Pancras/King's Cross Station and lots of transportation around. Also, it wasn't noisy, although it was close to a very active main road....it pretty much allowed me to enjoy the day and night life of London, and afforded me the quiet times to wind down after bustling through busy London. I also enjoyed the breakfast that came with the package, although it would be nice if in addition to the ham and pork sausages, they served chicken and/or turkey sausages, as I don't eat pork, so I couldn't avail myself of the entire buffet. Overall, it's a great value for the money and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was good, but they could consider adding non-pork meat to the menu. Also, it would be helpful if they posted an information sign above the heating system telling guests how to turn on/off the heater.

So near Kings Cross and St Pancreas perfect save on taxi costs. Very basic accommodations. Normal breakfast included saves so much time. Wifi avaialable but slow and spotty. As with all hotels in this category there isn't a lift.

For a basic hotel it was fine. Room was clean and the bed comfortable, there was a shower and sink in the room but no toilet. Close to Kings Cross and St Pancras stations and buses. Not having a toilet in the bedroom, but it was close to the room and I never had to wait for it.

Location near St Pancras Station. Breakfast was nice, buffet style. Polystyrene cups in the bedroom, expected more for what we paid. Shower was just a small cubicle. Also shared toilet.

“We were very impressed by the hotel, for the price we paid we expected a bed and not much else, but this hotel is perfect. We stayed for one night, the room was smaller than the usual hotel room but it had a bed, shower/bath and toilet, a TV, a wardrobe. What more do you need for such a low price? The breakfast was a traditional English breakfast with toast and jam, the service was quick and efficient and the food tasted fine, with Tea, Coffee and Orange juice offered. Overall the hotel was clean and friendly during our stay.” Michael, Southampton |
