The price reflects the standard of the hotel. Transport links to central London were ok. Bus stop right outswide the door to rail station. Night bus from central london also stops right outside door. Breakfast was toast and jam, though didn't mind that |

A comfortable stay. The choice of a cooked breakfast was good but the cooked breakfast was a disappointment, being expensive for the small breakfast. Sausage was cold and hard, bacon same and unchewable. See above re poor value English breakfast and all served cold. Had been sitting in food warmer somewhere and sausage was tough, bacon inedible. Supposed to get two slices of toast which didn't coem and had to cook myself. Far prefer staying in Clapham South Euro Hortels. No need for all those ridiculous frilly seat covers in dining room. This is England, not Eastern Europe. |

My stay was very enjoyable. The hotel was close to the bus, train and shopping in Croydfon. The only downside to the hotel was not being able to phone out. I came from overseas and my mobile phone doesn't work in England. Having to cross the main street to use the phone box was very inconvenient and dangerous. Someone was run down while I made my second cross over to the phone box. |

Double en suite room with breakfast and free parking all for £30. Excellent value but this is definitely a budget hotel. The room was small but very comfortable. The continental breakfast consisted of a choice of four cereals or toast. There was green slime and limescale around the bathroom taps and what appeared to be blood on the radiator! |

Friendly staff. Tired decor. Lack of attention to detail in the room. Offered a small cell without windows before asking to change. A good sized room with large windows was then offered. |

-Good value for money. Clean and big room (for 3 persons). Reception personnel efficient and friendly. Easy access from the south of London (coming by car from the continent). Free parking. I found getting to the centre of London pretty easy. I read a lot of controversial comments on this site, about the distance from the hotel to the city centre, and the time necessary to get there. This is my opinion: Bus from the hotel to the train station: 5 min. Train to London (Victoria Station): 20 min. Considering also the waiting time, and it means 40 min from the hotel to Victoria. Buses come every 5 min, trains every 10 min (exception: only Sunday when the trains are every half hour). That's it. -Breakfast can be improved. Sound insulation between rooms might not be very good (depending on the room) |

The hotel was perfect for what we needed: an unexpensive room within a 1/2 hour distance from London Victoria! Good beds, full breakfast on request. The bar staff was a little bit unprofessional but nice... |

The included breakfast was decent and a nice plus. A fan is included in the room, which was great because I like to have it on to drown out any noise. The bathroom was also nice and large. Overall, great value for the money. The bar keep was very rude. An elevator would also have been nice. My biggest complaint is that it is not in the best area. I would not recommend walking around late at night. It was on a very busy street, however, so buses went by very frequently, which was nice. |
