The room was small but comfortable and clean. The setting was pleasant and the motel looked well maintained; all rooms on the ground floor so no stairs.

We were very pleased withe the room, the look of the motel and the setting and would certainly stay there again when visiting family. Nevertheless, there were a couple of very slight inconveniences. There was no-one on duty when we arrived but we phoned a number on the door and were told that the key was in the room. There was no complimentary orange juice or cereal bar and the light above the sink mirror wasn't working.

This was a one night stay on the way down to Norfolk which allowed us to visit family in the nearby villages. We had two dogs with us and the fact that the Owston Motel is out in the countryside with a walk just across the road was ideal. For the cost the room was clean, well appointed and comfortable and easily equates to the facilities found in Travel Lodge. Should we be travelling this way again I would certainly stay at Owston.

This isn't really a comment about the Owston more the procedures between them and Booking.com. There was a mix up over payment for our one night stay. Booking.com deducted the cost on the day of the booking whereas they had sent our credit card details through to the Owston Motel for them to charge following our stay. Fortunately I had the paperwork with me to prove that this was the case.

Excellent value for money.

The welcome was friendly and helpful. We were shown where to exercise our dog and further help was offered if we needed it. The area was lovely, there was lots of places to walk and a pub which sold decent food 15 mins walk away. We were pleasantly surprised at how pleasant and relaxing our stay was as we were only expecting something cheap and cheerful, but the Owston Motel was of a far better standard than expected.

the motel was good as it was very quiet the room was very clean and quite modern the beds were comfy and even though it was room only there was a cereal bar and juice for each of us which was quite a nice gesture. the manager was great just told you what you need to know and left you to it.There was no rush to check out on the sunday which was nice so we didnt have to rush. would stay again if i was in that area.

We were greeted on arrival and shown to our rooms. The location was ideal as we were attending a family wedding at owston Church and Hotel so were within walking distance of both. Two of our rooms contained a double bed plus extra single so we had plenty of room. There was plenty of drawer space and adequate wardrobe space. An orange drink and cereal bar were provided for breakfast although we were informed that we could walk up to Owston Hall if we wanted anything more substantial. Tea and coffee making facilities were also available as was a facility for ironing. Staff were accommodating as my son had forgotten a belt for his trousers so was able to borrow one from a member of staff! I would definitely use this Motel if in the area again.

It was quiet & set in a nice rural location, & it had most facilities you would expect from a modest hotel / motel.

It didn't have a proper reception, but the manager / owner was on site & was there when I arrived, & also when I needed to contact him later in the evening.

the hotel was nice and quiet, but i did not even see a member of staff, i had to ring a number that was on a front door ! i was told my key was in the room that was it ,, my name was not even asked for !! but overall ,, was nice and clean ok for the price and a nite in donny only cost £8 for a taxi back so great for a nightbout,, will stay there again,, yep spot on thanxx

We originally booked the Owston Motel as it is just a couple of miles away from where our daughter now lives. We regularly book now when visiting as it is value for money, clean and comfortable, is situated in the countryside and minutes walk away from the Owston Hotel with it's golf course, bar and restaurant. The rooms are serviced daily and there is the nice touch of a carton of orange juice and a cereal bar per person as a welcoming gift along with the tea and coffee facilities.

Propre, super rapport qualité prix.

Me and my boyfriend only went for one night and it felt like we had been away for a week, it was so relaxing and the room was lovely.

Die junge Frau, die uns den Schlüssel übergeben hat, hatte sichtbar keine Freude an ihrer Arbeit; das Zimmer war sehr klein, es gab kaum Abstellflächen für das Gepäck; im großen Aufenthaltsraum ging der Fernseher nicht, Mitarbeiter zwecks Hilfen waren keine mehr anwesend.

no on site cafe or bar . no restaurant . no childrens facilities . a cot couldnt be profided. this hotel isnt for familys with children under 10 years old . its an ideal hotel for back packers or for a overnight stay as long as you dont mind a short drive to go out for dinner or you could order a take away to be deliverd.
