Riverside Lodge is set alongside the banks of the River Great Ouse, which flows through Bedford and eventually reaches King’s Lynn and The Wash. The Lodge is a Grade II Listed property, and was originally built in the 17th Century as a lodge to Ouse Manor. It has seen incarnations as a dairy, a blacksmith’s forge and a family home, being extended over the years. Affording peace and tranquility in a very rural setting, yet within very easy reach of major road and rail networks, we offer three bed and breakfast rooms. The principal suite occupies the upper floor of the historic thatched part of the house with idyllic views down to the river Great Ouse. The other two guest bedrooms are also double bedded rooms finished in a contemporary comfortable style. The B&B is our home and we ask that you respect that by maintaining the quietness of the surroundings and by not checking in after 9:00pm unless by prior arrangement. Great pub food is available within walking distance in the attractive historic village of Sharnbrook.

The B&B is managed and run by myself and my husband. We have traveled extensively and stayed in hotels, appartments and B&Bs for both business and leisure. We have turned that knowledge and experience into ensuring you have a comfortable, unique and memorable stay with us.

We are quietly set down a small lane off Mill Road in Sharnbrook. Shared with one neighbouring house, the majority of the neighbours you will see will be sheep, horses and if you are lucky, deer, foxes and birds including buzzards, red kites and Barn owls.
