Rowan cottage at Kames is a traditional Victorian Scottish cottage which has been extended, modernised and improved since it was built in 1860. Sitting on the west side of the Kyles of Bute it has stunning views of the Island of Bute from the large patio windows which open onto a large decking area ideal for alfresco dining. Secluded behind a stone wall you are guaranteed a quiet get away from it all break. Set over two levels the lower half houses two (2) double bedrooms. There is also a double sofa bed in the upstairs lounge. Upstairs is the open plan lounge and kitchen area. Here you will find a lounge with oak flooring and open fire. This adjoins a well equipped modern kitchen and dining area. On the mid level there is a recently renovated family bathroom complete with luxury bath, large separate shower and WC. Situated in the centre of picturesque Kames, and secluded as it faces the sea and is set behind a high stone wall with extensive gardens in front of the house. Dogs Welcome: One well behaved only. This accessible part of the Scottish Highlands offers beautiful coastlines, dramatic scenery, engaging heritage, abundant wildlife, and very friendly communities and people.
