This Grade II* listed property offers a separate self-catering one-bedroom cottage within the 16th Century thatched farmstead. The Linhay is a detached period cottage situated just a 5-minute drive to Copplestone in Mid-Devon and is only 20 km from the Cathedral city of Exeter offering Museums, a historic quayside, theaters and shops. . The Linhay features a fully equipped kitchen, fitted with a dishwasher, an outside seating and dining area and views of the garden. Guests benefit from free WiFi and private parking available on site. The contemporary accommodation is fitted with a dining area and seating area with a flat-screen TV whilst highlighting the original features of the 16th Century building. Upstairs there is a large vaulted bedroom, a dressing room and private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. Bed linen and towels are provided. The owners of the property have dogs, horses, breed sheep, chickens and geese. They also grow most of their own vegetables and fruit. The Linhay is situated in quiet surroundings enabling guests to relax, unwind and enjoy the peace and local wildlife. Situated in Central Devon The Linhay is an ideal base to enable you to discover everything Devon has to offer, North Devon with it's surfing beaches and unique places like Clovelly, and the South Devon beaches and ports of Salcombe and Dartmouth post plus enables easy access to east Devon and Cornwall. The area is popular for hiking, Dartmoor is 19km away, Tavistock is 42 km from the Linhay, while Taunton is 49 km The nearest airport is Exeter International Airport, 24 km from the Linhay.

Please note that the property is accessed via an unpaved road that may be unsuitable for some vehicles. The immediate access from the road is shared with a small holding operating a dairy unit, there may be cows crossing at times.
Both bedroom suites can accommodate a cot for a baby, but the open-plan stairs are not suitable for toddlers and young children.
Please note this is a working farm and there may be disturbances during the day/evening at certain times of the year.
