All of it
Lovely views from both the room & the bar. Great food.
Lack of real ale, only lager or guinness on show.
Location, spa and nice staff.
Service at breakfast chaotic due to wedding previous night, could have been more organised.
Facilities Friendly and homely Views
All Ok for us
Comfy beds Good pool and steam room Pleasant staff Lovely views
Poor shower pressure Taxi required to get around
Parking free. Location Rooms spacious
They need to take more notice of a person on their own - in the bar area and restaurant. I was ignored a few times!
The Quay was situated within a mix of nature and history brought right up to date. Our suite overlooking the estuary was roomy and well furnished for our needs. The bed was ultra comfortable and housekeeping was excellent. The reception staff were excellent, pleasant and down to earth. We had two bar lounge meals which were very good and afternoon tea.The service was first class in this area.
The breakfast service for tea/coffee and toast on two of the three days was chaotic. We were totally missed for removal of used crockery and by the time we had finished our breakfast had to ask for the above as no-one had come to our table to get our order for drinks and toast. There seemed to be no organisation of this service. The tea service needs training but the coffee was fine.I would have liked a better selection of teas in the room eg Red Bush Earl Grey etc.
Very attentive and helpful.
Restaurant overpriced. No AC which given its star rating was a disappointment.
The weather was very good and we had perfect sunsets each evening. Views across the water were good from upgraded room.
If I had booked via "Secret Escapes" I would have got a sea view room or suite for £99! I had to upgrade my limited room at £40 per night to get the same room. Meals and drinks pricey.
Everything especially the location
Lovely setting . Nice hotel .good breakfast did not have evening meal so can't comment. Lovely big room but disappointed we didn't have balcony as we did up grade
Service for breakfast not the best but for some reason the day we stayed breakfast was served upstairs so maybe staff not us to set up cause we understand breakfast is normally served down stairs
One of the nicest hotels stayed in anywhere in the UK. Lovely room The food both in the evening and breakfast was superb. Will always return when in the area.
every thing including the staff
the way the bill was presented was confusing and incorrect
Wonderful view from our suite!
Restaurant service a little slow appreciate they busy though, food not to our taste!!
There was not a single thing I did not like
The location is fabulous.Hotel located right on estuary with views of Conwy Castle and boats on the water with green mountains behind. Everything very clean top awards to the hidden hard work of cleaning staff. Room very nice very comfortable and bathroom excellent with lovely complementary accessories. Excellent spare and gym available as well as various treatments. Although we didn't use them as we were running outside it was great these facilities were available. Staff at reception and in restaurant for breakfast and evening were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was superb Fruit salad, cereals a range of hot breakfast choices from scrambled eggs to sausage to smoke salmon to kippers all lovely. Very nice place
Still not sure if ive got this right but there appeared to be no air conditioning in our room (244) It got very hot at night even with the windows wide open we couldn't find a thermostat anywhere. This seems bizarre given the attention to detail and the claims of luxury and comfort the hotel makes, and generally achieves. The other issue which sprang to mind was given that we were in North Wales there was very little evidence of the Welsh language or even accents for that matter. Sorry think the toilets were in Welsh.Although in Welsh in not a welsh speaker or a welsh nationalist but the whole experience struck me as very nationalised. In nearby Caernarfon the Welsh language is heard everywhere as are welsh accents This enriched the holiday experience adding cultural depth and interest. This is not being anti English but it does seem strange that in the heart of north Wales a welsh accent isn't heard.
Had a brilliant stay, lovely hotel, friendly staff, our room was lovely with a beautiful view. Breakfast was nice, unfortunately didn't dine in the evening. Will 100% be staying again.
Booked this our anniversary including dinner and it was great. Lovely view from our balcony, the room was great and dinner was amazing. Can't wait to stay again.
Bathroom could use some updating.
Excellent location. We had a suite which overlooked the estuary with panoramic views including Conwy Castle. Would highly recommend the Spa which was wonderful plus you get a discount as a guest. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast in bed was disappointing. Very small portions for the price. You are better off going to the restaurant where you can help yourself.
the bed was very comfortable. the breakfast was very good, lots of choice and fresh.
the fact that the swimming pool is closed early at weekend. i was looking forward to a swim but i was too late as it shut at 7pm!
Large, modern, comfortable, well equipped room. Professional staff. Good food & ample parking.
Would have liked a greater choice of lounge / bar food.
the views the swimming pool good wi-fi connection pleasant staff
I liked the welcoming staff and wonderful relaxation.(Just what I needed!)
Price (Rather expensive)
the food was 1st class
a little bit pricey but you get what you pay for well done chef !!
