This Brand New apartment lies off one of the main avenues leading to the historic centre of Athens. The National Archaeological Museum is just a nine minute walk and well worth a visit, while the new Hellenic Motor Museum is just two blocks away, on Ioulianou Street. Public transport is plentiful but it's only a half hour walk to the Ancient Agora of Athens at the foot of the Acropolis. It's modern equivalent, the pedestrian shopping street of Ermou, is just as close and leads up to the Greek Parliament building. Adjacent to this former palace are the National Gardens, which offer a shady and surprisingly peaceful oasis in the heart of the busy metropolis. The closest train station is Victoria, from which you can connect to the entire underground and railway network. To get there : Head west on Derigni Street, turn left onto September 3rd Street and continue until you reach Victoria Station. By public transport from the airport to the apartment is approximately 1 hour. From the airport its a 15 minutes (1,1 km) walk to the metro station. Take the M3 line for 7 stops (23 minutes) and get off at Neratziotissa underground station. Then, change line M1 for 11 stops and get off at Victoria station. The apartment is a 3 minute (280 meters) walk. There is free street parking available. But, in case you find street parking challenging in the area, please note that the closest parking lot is located 92 meters away from my apartment.
