Our Bauhaus building was built from our grandfather at early 1950’s and we renovated and maintain it with love. We protected the authenticity of original materials, like Wooden doors of the apartments, marbles, the columns at the rooftop apartment terrace as well as the piano in the lobby of that time. Sacred way is the name of the street that is located. The Sacred Way (Ancient Greek: Ἱερὰ Ὁδός, Hierá Hodós), in ancient Greece, was the road from Athens to Eleusis. it was the route taken by a procession celebrating the Eleusinian Mysteries. The procession to Eleusis began at the Sacred Gate in the Kerameikos (the Athenian cemetery). According an inscription, dated on 421 B.C., the responsibility of the repairs and the maintenance of the Sacred Way belongs to the Priests of the Temple of Demeter and Persephone. The importance of the Sacred Way in antiquity was great. Apart from the religious – sacred and transport value, the road had also economic and cultural value, as well as great monuments, tombs and sanctuaries found alongside its route.
