Our baroque house is located in the heart of Old Town of Dubrovnik, just two minutes walk from the main street “Stradun”, in a very quiet, idyllic alley of the city. Spend unforgettable moments of your vacation in this unique UNESCO world cultural heritage while staying at the centuries old, but newly remodeled and elegantly decorated house. The house was built before the 15th century, but it was twice severely damaged – by the earthquake in 1667 and by the shells in the Croatian War of Independence on December 6, 1991, during the heaviest bombardment of the Old Town. In 1667 the third floor was demolished and afterward it was never rebuilt –that is still visible on the walls of the neighboring houses, which were spared in the earthquake. In 1991 two shells hit the roof. On the ground floor there is still a medieval fountain, where the water was collected by the time when public water supply was not provided. The house was left uninhabitable till 2006, when it was renovated and turned into Angelus Apartments. Last renovation of this property was completed in April 2019.
