Fortica is a renovated house from the 17th century. It is situated near the town square of the historical town Motovun. The town overlooks a beautiful valley of the river Mirna and the ancient Motovun forest. The house consists of a ground floor and two additional ones. The ground floor has a well-equipped spacious modern kitchen. The other two floors both consist of a bedroom area and each have their own bathroom. The house has a small terrace right below the town wall. The house has been newly renovated in the style of medieval Istrian houses with very steep stairs and may not be suitable for small children and people with disabilities. A grocery shop and several restaurants are only minutes away on foot. The house is situated 27 km from Portorož, 30 km from Poreč, 38 km from Opatija, and 49 km from the Pula Airport.
