The large living / dining room is open to the pool and terrace . The original colonial kitchen has been kept but with new oven , microwave , fridge and utensils. The china , glasses etc have been specially selected to suit the interior. Bring a bottle of your favourite tipple as the cocktail shaker, glasses and ice bucket await! The original bathroom opens from the living and the bedroom with the original oversized shower, separate toilet and simple marble topped vanity. The air-conditioned bedroom has a king size , King Coil bed and fine linen. The curtains , bed throw and cushions are all from the famous Jim Thompson in silk, velvet and linen. This villa is unique and loved by many celebrity guests who have been entertained within it's walls. It won't suit everyone of course! If you are looking for a newly-built minimalist space, this villa is definitely not for you - but if you are a lover of unique vintage character in a fabulous busy location, it is a true gem. Other things to note The position of "The Gatehouse" in the midst of the busy Batu Belig / Petitenget food and cafe zone means that there is some background traffic noise at the villa. As the villa is set back behind other buildings, it shouldn't be an issue unless you are very sensitive to noise.
