Location Clean room
Noisy teenagers in bars downstairs. Impossible to get sleep on a weekend
Staff extremely helpful and friendly especially Nara, room very comfortable and clean compy bed. Brilliant location for us. Will def be back!!
Location was brilliant, just around the corner from the Olympia theatre which was exactly what we wanted. No more than a 15 minute walk from Grafton street. Hotel room was perfect. It was clean and plenty big enough for the two of us. the bed was very comfortable and the shower was one of the best I've ever experienced.
View out the window wasn't great, but nothing that would put me off staying again
- the Hotel is really well located, central, but still at a quiet part of temple street - The location again! :-) - The staff was friendly and helpfull - There is a club at the groundfloor which you can hear a little while staying at the 1st floor
We traveled during October with around 10 degrees - the room was a little bit chilly due the heating was not really hot, and the windows were very untight - The WiFi coverage was bad
Brilliant location. You're literally a stones throw away from the main attractions. The area itself is very safe.
The hotel could do with a refurb. Had mentioned in my notes that I was travelling to celebrate my birthday, no attention was paid to that whatsoever. I think that amounts to poor customer service. And the hotel is not exactly a budget hotel, so would've expected a little bit more care.
Great folks run it - Monica rocks!
Not easily accessible location. Adjacent bar parties HARD and loud and you occasionally hear it.
We had a midweek break as we were attending the Olympia theatre for a concert, hotel in great location plenty of bars near by, would def recommend
Excellent location Friendly and helpful staff Plenty of good restaurants nearby
Dark atmosphere, not enough light. No restaurant within the hotel
Location facility staff ambiance
The available parking was a few blocks away, very narrow parking structure and 15 euro a day.
The location was excellent as was the value for money. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly.
The restaurant/bar Turks head didn't cater at all for vegetarians and when We asked the waitress could she ask the chef if he could make up something vegetarian I was honestly stunned by her cocky response "well we could give you a plate of leaves." It was as if she was implying I was a rabbit. We then walked out and dined elsewhere which in turn lost the hotel out on several hundred euro as we were a party of four and we were also drinking.
It's very hard to sleep because we can hear evry single noise on the street
This was a pleasant place, with no pretensions and comfortable. We spend one night there, breakfast was freshly made, bed was comfortable enough, room size was fine, everything looks clean and the personal was friendly and responsive. We enjoy it.
nothing came to mind.
Everything was great!! I loved the room!
The hotel was in a great location, easy access to the airport shuttle buses and on the edge in a quiet corner of temple bar. The staff was very helpful and nice. It is clean and comfortable but some small improvements like new comforters would be huge improvement.
The mattresses, covers and carpet were all quite old. The room and breakfast room were also dark quite. You can tell it is just old and that they do take good care of everything.
The staff and their concern for guests' comfort and informed recommendations about local sights and eateries.
Our room was perfect, but I heard that the rooms at the front of the hotel can be a bit noisy.
Good location, good price, good equipment
Heating within all nights not working - there is a big problem in November and later Bedding to sleep - uff, sheet only
The hotel room was affordable and big. The shower was really hot and bathroom very nice and clean. The hotel staff is very helpful, and even provided me a free universal adapter for my socket.
The window was not soundproof, and as a result I could hear outside noise very clearly. Similarly, the front door faced the same problem; I could hear all of the guests exiting their rooms, and talking loudly in the hallway. It was also a bit cold because I could not get the thermostat to work.
Lovely comfy bed staff very friendly excellent location
Location was brilliant
Very noisy early in the morning with deliveries to the pub, beer barrels rolling down cobble road.
Fantastic location. All the key Dublin sites are reachable on foot, and some great restaurants, bistros and cafes just around the corner. Room and bathroom were wonderful -- clean, comfortable and with a bit of character.
Hallway to our room smelled like smoke. As a non-smoker booking a non-smoking room, I would not have expected that. When we came in to inquire about parking, we were given a second-rate map to direct us to a parking garage. Having not known tha reas and driven around for 30 minutes trying to find the hotel, it would have been nice to have better direction. I found it in the end after asking a pedestrian and finally seeing a blue P sign. The garage charged E15 to park for 24hrs. When I asked if there was anything cheaper in the area, she replied firmly that there isn't anything cheaper in Dublin, as if I should be grateful. As a tourist, of course I didn't know, so it would have been nice to have a bit more courtesy, and it also would have been nice if I knew about the parking charge prior to booking.
Great location with all the bars a 5 minute walk away close to bus stop for airport transfer comfortable rooms could get noisy but was to be expected would go back again
Lovely decor Great location in middle of temple bar Beautiful spacious rooms
Location, good rates and friendly staff.
There was no bar when we visited
God size bedroom, nicely decorated. Flat screen TV with a reasonable amount of channels. Nice heater on bathroom, that you can warm your towels.
Wifi at reception and restaurant area, not in the room. Old carpet in room, not very clean. Old blanket im bed, not good for allergies. Windows were very dirty, and allows a lot of outside noise to come in. Floor and ceiling made of wood, you can hear your neighbours from the other rooms. Bath sink did not drain as fast as water comes in, so by the end of your shower you have to wait the water drain and wash your feet once again. During check out I mentioned the room noise. The staff member told me that I could have requested to change the room to another with less street noise, but at the end, this is Temple Bar region and there will be some noise from the streets.
Good location and staff helpful and efficient.bit tricky to find. Ideal for temple bar and nightlife. We found it ideal for being central on a budget.
As near bars it is noisy at night even on a sunday plus road sweepers pass in the early hours.rooms a bit dark.
