Showers were great. Good breakfast. Attentive staff
1. Location 2. Seville, the restaurant. 3. Room size and desk in it (Rm. 206) 4. The general amenities.
1. Difficult to fix small problems without talking to a senior person. i.e. Duty Manager or above. Probably because of a lack of conceptual understanding by more junior staff. Training? 2. Slow and erratic service in the coffee shop. One had to hail a waiter even when the restaurant was near empty!! 3. The plugs in the rooms (in this case 206) are either inconveniently placed or invisible. Had to go through a song and dance to get an extension cord (at my own suggestion!) placed in the room. 4. The internet in my colleague's room (208) was erratic although mine was fine. The point is, his never got fixed during a 72 hour stay nor did he get a credible explanation for the problem (which could have been his own computer)! 5. Why is it not possible to have "real" coffee placed in the room by way of a French Press or some such. It would make you stand up and above all other similar category hotels...trust me!! 6. Though well meant, the staff was too quick to offer "complimentary" coffee in the room, etc. when I was complaining about a problem. The discerning client wants the problem fixed - not coffee, tea or even a meal. 7. Your relatively low room rate, appears to have been compensated for by your menu rates in the restaurants. A mistake, because the perception is that the in-house guest is penalized and the off the street restaurant crowd wooed; but the latter is because they can afford to spend the cash as a one off expenditure for the genuinely good atmosphere. But, the point is, this practice, or even strategy, may be alienating your room sales!!
Very comfortable beds. Wifi expensive but works well. Excellent breakfast. Centrally located
Very noisy all night from road and neighbouring rooms.
Location Eager staff Excellent restaurants Great breakfast Awesome cocktail lounge Accessibility Sevilla - amazing Mediterranean food and ambience Lavish well maintained lawns A very homely feel Excellent rooms Small hotel
Pool was under service. But it didn't affect my stay.
service - the best!
pool and spa closure - I was only informed a few days before arrival very slow net
I have travelled the world but never have i experienced the hospitality like This hotel. my family and friends were blown away by the culture of the staff and the way they looked after us. no request was small enough. excellent hotel but extremely excellent People.
Some rooms need renovation urgently.
The staff were very hospitable and excellent food
Excellent experience .Would like to stay in this hotel during my visits to Delhi
The service is excellent, my room was very calm, comfortable, with a huge terrace, upon my arrival everything was done really fast, they even did my check-in in my room, the food is delicious, the hotel is located in a very beautiful area.
Maybe that the pool is closed too early but it's not really important as to compare to the really good level of service you have there
The staff were excellent
Electrical outlets are lacking; the gym facilities are also too small
The inflexibility of the management
The best hotel I stayed in India, even when it is compared to the best five stars.
-Location wise was very good, gated hotel and high level of security. -Internet (Wifi) connection relatively good. - Hotel is very clean and neat - Selection of pillows offer comfortness of guests - Staff extremely friendly and welcoming, highly trained.
- The room quite small - Lack of foods variety (Breakfast) -
The large scale rooms The bed comfort The Greeting at Reception
The lack of flowers/ plants in rooms The masculine colours of the room fittings and interiors The very small sizes of restaurants particularly the most popular Indian one. The noise levels when a party was taking place at night.
One of the best stays I have had in recent times when compared to other hotels in Delhi or even globally. Very service oriented and pleasant staff and a nice quiet property, yet very close to everything around.
Only allowed 1 wifi device per room... Not great for me personally.
Excellent breakfast. Attentive staff. Quiet location
Very welcoming and helpful staff
What irritated us was the currency conversion rate offered by hotel. Charging commission of over 10% is ridiculous and partially spoiled an otherwise wonderful experience.
Breakfast where excellent, pool area very quiet and nice, pool very nice! Bar perfekt!
I had a very bad room the view where ugly, very dark, and a lot of dove on my windowsill !
Courtesies of all the staff and the food.
Comfort of the bed... Too hard....
It's all stated in the rankings above
Elegant hotel, big enough to offer all services (including 4 restaurants, 3 of which we tried - all excellent) but not so big as to be anonymous. Breakfasts were the best we've ever had in an hotel.
No real downsides apart from the lack on any Indian beers besides the ubiquitous and bland Kingfisher - but this appears to be a problem with many Indian hotels/restaurants!
Clean great location and service
First night hot chocolate we ordered was amazing but ever other was like Chico water. There transport options over priced.
Comfortable, excellent service, quite luxurious
The price! Didn't think it was worth the cost. The restaurants and bar were extortionate for nothing special
the great location You can walk to India gate the outside dining the retro colonial feel staff had good knowledge of local eating places
slow checking in and checking out confused staff at check in and check out bad plumbing - no hot water on first night smelly damp room horrible view of building sight at back of hotel not worth £160
Old school delhi charm coupled with luxury. Perfect location. The hotel despite being around for many years is in good condition and has been modernized while still retaining its old world charm.
the spa was under renovation which was a inconvenience.
