"Casa di Alfredo" (Alfredo's house) is a big countryhouse placed in a beautiful land between Liguria and Piedmont. The recent reorganization has exploited the original chestnut-tree roofs and the sandstone walls of the house. Our home is the ideal location for leisure and offers a quiet and relaxing atmosphere that ensures a pleasant stay. We serve a rich breakfast in the main room with fireplace or in the garden: italian coffee, bread, home-made marmelade and cakes, fruits, Ligurian "focaccia"... If you like, we can prepare dinner for you. Our house has three rooms on the second floor, with two baths and a little living-room. If you want to relax we have some deck-chairs in the garden but if you decide to have a trip we can give you all the info you need about the beautiful places around "Casa di Alfredo".

The rolling uplands of Mioglia have neither the ruggedness of the mountains nor the monotony of the plain. The best way to explore theme is by MTB, along paths through country villages, woods and pastures. “Giovo by bike” is the name of 13 MTB trails that cross these valleys and woods around our rural villages: Mioglia, Stella, Urbe, Sassello, Pontinvrea. They are linked to other mountain paths suitable for walkers too. Close to Mioglia you can enjoy signed tracks in the Natural Park of Monte Beigua (heritage of UNESCO): reaching its 1200-metre peak (also by road) you will see a beautiful panorama extending from Genoa to the ligurian coast, because the sea is right at his foot. Our B&B is a good starting point to visit Liguria with delightful seaside villages with colourful facades which look over narrow "caruggi" and long, sun-warmed beaches. But there's also an historical past to discover everywhere along the coast: caves (from prehistoric times), a lot of roman traces (bridges and the important town of Albenga), medieval hamlets surrounded by vinegards, castles and towers, Romanesque churches. a good cultural alternative to lazy days of sun and sea!
