The elaborately restored apartment is located in an 18th century house surrounded by a botanical garden, right on the famous Tappeiner path in Meran. A walk takes about 100 m from the heart of the old town via 92 stairs to the house. The view from the apartment and the three balconies to the old town of Merano is breathtaking and the highlight of the apartment. Please note that there is no car access or parking at the house directly, as it is located in a botanical garden. The entrance to the apartment is a bit difficult with luggage, but the view and the residential atmosphere of the small retreat will compensate you for it many times. The apartment is sunny and is furnished by Gert and Christine with attention to detail and taste: modern (ceiling heating, WIFI, noble oak parquet) is connected with historical. Our guests will feel at home here and enjoy the flair of South Tyrol.

Gert and Christine are at home with their family in Munich. Gert operates an oldtimer event agency in Munich. Christine is active in the field of education. Gert comes from Merano and has realized with this apartment a dream that he would like to share with guests from all over the world. The apartment is located in the heart of Merano, overlooking the rooftops of the old town. Tyrol's longest leafy alleys with fine boutiques and shops, the Pulverturm and the parish church of St. Nikolaus, the Kurhaus and the spa promenade are just a stone's throw away. The thermal baths, designed by Stararchitekt Matteo Thun, are just a few minutes away, as are the city palaces of Memming with the Stadtmuseum and the Wandelhalle. From Easter to far into November you can enjoy the coffee in the old town on the numerous outdoor places. Few places in Central Europe have more hours of sunshine than Merano. Meran's Art Nouveau flair can be enjoyed while waking up with a wonderful view of the church tower and the old town of Merano. Sporty guests can use the Tappeinerweg, directly in front of the house for jogging or walking, before the tourist streams come. The sunbath of the Tappeinerweg is free of snow and ice for 360 days a year. There is no better sun terrace. The largest horse-riding area in Europe and one of the most beautiful botanical gardens in Italy, Trautmannsdorf Castle, is only a few minutes away.
