The 4-star Hotel Stefania is located few metres from Pittulongu Beach, opposite Tavolara Island. This hotel is 5 km from Olbia, the harbour and international airport of Olbia Costa Smeralda.

The modern Doubletree Hilton offers a free swimming pool and a beautiful sea view on the Sardinian coast. Olbia's historic centre is just a 10-minute walk away. The gym and parking are free.

Service was excellent staff could not do enough to help you have and excellent stay food in the resturant was excellant view from the pool was wonderful and the sea view from the room made everything for a fantastic hoilday.
Reception when we arrived Room was spacious Breakfast was fantastic Pool was beautiful Staff were friendly and helpful The shuttle bus facility & driver Jean Luc was excellent
The shuttle bus timetable needed to operate a little later into the evening Due to the remote location you needed to rely on the shuttle bus or expensive taxis or a rental car The food in the evening restaurant was very mediocre. A better choice and quality would have meant we were less inclined to want to eat in town.
The swimming pool with panoramic view.
The staff is nice but clearly not very well prepared. The furniture in the room is very ugly and old, especially for a deluxe room. The view from the rooms is not impressive.
Everything was perfect..and as for the pool and the views...simply stunning. Definately coming back one day,
everything I am definitely staying again
nothing at all
Pool Breakfast Staff
Beds were hard as were pillows Too far from town Shuttle bus finished at 7.30
The swimming pool, the choice for breakfast and the staff
No usable wifi in the room.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The free shuttle bus from airport to hotel and back, to the beach or the city was wonderful. The hotel location is beautiful with a large infinity pool overlooking the city and ocean views. The breakfast buffet was large and delicious. We can't say enough good things about the restaurant: food is amazing, reasonably priced, large portions. The staff in the restaurant and bar are incredibly friendly and helpful. We loved our stay at Luna Lughente and would highly recommend staying here.
Excellent food in the restaurant and extensive breakfast buffet that was included with room rate. Waitstaff in the restaurant was very professional & attentive. Pool is great & has a gorgeous view. The shuttle to the airport & beach is free and very convenient.
Poor wi-fi, sky TV didn't work and beds were not that comfortable. Decor is dated.
We loved everything about staying at Luna Lughente! That breathtaking panorama in the morning, while sipping that great cappuccino on the breakfast terrace, will stay with us for a long long time. Our room at the 1st floor also boasted a great view, overlooking Olbia port. The room itself was simply spotless, very confortable and spacious. The staff was very welcoming. Special mention to the bartender, whose creative cocktails made the perfect end of the day. we were overall very happy with the location of the hotel, secluded but still very close to the beach. Ourselves, we did not use the hotel shuttle and would definitely recommend car hire for the freedom of seeing as much of possible of Sardegna.
Wi-fi not working very well, but then who needs that when you have so much to see around...The pool water was a tad too cold during our short stay
The staff, the views, the food
Beautifully located, spacious and clean hotel. It has great swimming pool and stylish decorations. If you are fine with needing a car in order to get to some nice beach or town, this hotel is perfect for you. The restaurant food was delicious and the staff amazingly nice.
Beds were not very comfortable, although large size. Nevertheless, the main disadvantage was total lack of support from the reception staff when it comes to guests leaving their towels at the early morning over the deck chairs of the swimming pool. On some days 90% of the chairs were covered with towels, with just one couple actually using them! No solution was given to this problem - the only answer was that this behavior was not correct but she needed to consult the management on what to do. When the same situation happened again, I heard the same answer... This should be clearly forbidden in 4-stars hotels and the guests should be supported against this type of pathetic behavior. Unfortunately, Luna Lughente doesn't act like a decent hotel in this aspect, which may be somewhat frustrating...
The staff was friendly and very helpful. It was very accessible by shuttle to go to the beach. The view from the pool was fantastic.
There was not so many shuttle to the center and vice versa. I sent my request about the shuttle service from the airport 4 or 5 days earlier than the arrival date, but there wasn't any response (There was nothing in my email box even after I came back home.), so it seems to need to ask much in advance.
The hotel is in a beautiful location with a wonderful view of Olbia Bay. It is spotlessly clean and we had little trouble securing a sunbed around the fantastic pool which was unexpected and a pleasure.
The restaurant is very expensive and the hotel is remote from anywhere else to eat, so we really wished we'd hired a car. The promised 'shuttle' is a 7 seater car, which does run to the beach and into Olbia, but there are no return journeys late at night from town - you are left to find your own way back. We had to pay 25Euros for a one way trip in a taxi arranged by the hotel - even to a beach restaurant which was just a seven minute drive (but too far to walk down the hill). Then 20Euros on the way back too! We also had to wait an hour for the shuttle bus at the airport as the minibus had to 'go to the beach first'. The ambiance and service in the bar area is pretty non-existent. You have to go to the bar to order anything (no-one ever approached us - or anyone else - if we sat at a table) and a disinterested member of staff usually seemed a bit annoyed they had to take your order at all.
SUPERB SETTING,SUPERB ROOM, WE HAD (224) BALCONY A DREAM VIEW ! BED LINEN CHANGED EVERY DAY ( NOT EVEN ALL 5 STAR HOTELS DO THIS) RESTAURANT FOOD,SERVICE ..EXCEPTIONAL , GREAT SHUTTLE SERVICE TO BEACH & TOWN , ALL HOTEL SPOTLESLY CLEAN , ATTENTION TO DETAIL IN EVERY WAY ,WE BOTH ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE, THANKYOU TO ALL STAFF FOR A GREAT WEEKS HOLIDAY & AND FOR OUR LOVELY GIFT
HAVING TO LEAVE !!!!!!!
Good pool, great views, drinks and food not as expensive as other hotels in Sardinia
The water coming from the taps was brown when we first got there. Furthermore staff there are as not forthcoming with information. We had to keep phoning reception or go down personally to find out basic information such as the towel policy for the pool, where the pool is, restaurant information etc.
Clean, well kept, beautiful. Immaculate pool. Best staff.
We would have like a larger menu and higher quality food. The food was good but not excellent. We would have preferred to stay at the hotel for more meals and spend more time relaxing.
The view from the pool, breakfast area and restaurant! The excellent & friendly staff! You need a car for this hotel but otherwise great. The food in the restaurant was good.
The bed was a bit hard but that is personal preference not a real dislike.
The pool area was very nice and the staff was mostly very friendly. They had the room very well prepared for four people (two adults, two teenagers) with a roll away and enough towels and toiletries for all. Restaurant was ok, good service, but average food. Breakfast spread was nice.
Our bathroom had a horrible sewage smell. When they showed us to our room, the bathroom door was closed. Should have been a clue for us. Really was miserable, but as we arrived late in the evening and were checking out the next day, we chose not to ask to move rooms. I did mention it to the desk staff upon check out and they were not at all concerned or apologetic.
The decor of the hotel is great. Nice comfortable room. The pool has an amazing view. Great restaurant. Nice staff. Internet free and works great.
Not right on the beach.
The fantastic view, the wonderful infinite pool, the food, the decor, the staff and pretty well everything else
You ideally need a car for an extended stay, but they do provide a shuttle bus, to beach and airport and also kindly picked us up from the railway station on arrival.
view from the pool area is unique, the pool itself is superb. Very nice breakfast.
there is no gym and the beds are a bit hard.
The Family suits was very nice and the Pool area fantastic. Also the view from the Hotel was outstanding.
As all Italian Hotels the beds could be more comfortable. (softer).
Beautiful infinity pool; very clean and tidy; free taxi shuttle services (subject to availability) to/from airport, town centre and beach; close proximity (by taxi) to the town centre, Pittulongu Beach and Porto Cervo.
General hotel interior (tired and dated in places); very poor attitude and hospitality from certain staff members; unreasonably restrictive hours in terms of food/drink service; very steep access by foot or car to hotel from main road up winding hill; quality and variety of local facilities (restaurants, tourist excursions etc) rather limited - nothing within walking distance.
Beautiful views and excellent breakfast. The shuttle to the beach was especially useful - but book early if you want to use it to go to the town. We used the shuttle to get from the airport and to the station on our departure
The hotel was at the top of a steep hill so you need strong legs if you miss the shuttle or don't have a car. The check in was slow, our room was not ready, and we had to wait a long time to be given the key to our room.
