Le Cannicelle is a modern, three-storey villa built in a traditional style, set 124 feet above sea level with stunning views stretching for miles along the Cilento coast. The villa provides an infinity swimming pool, is comfortably furnished in a contemporary style and each level is self-contained making it ideal for larger groups. Outside there is ample space for everyone to come together and enjoy the stunning views of the sea from one of the many terraces, lounge in the shade of a huge Mediterranean oak tree, soak up the sun around the pool, or enjoy a meal on the rustic ‘taverna’ dining terrace.

Me and my sister Antonietta own this spectacular villa in Villammare. Following a huge passion for hospitality, some years ago at this family jewel we decided to open the doors to the international quality tourism. Since 2005 travellers from all over the world have chosen Villa Le Cannicelle as location for their family and friends holiday at the beach in Italy. Many of them are keep gathering to the villa along the years for their family reunions. Their children feel like home and, when summer arrives, they can't wait to jump again into our beautiful sea view infinity swimming pool. We saw them growing up along the years and some of them can now even speak a bit of Italian. What a great joy for us! Villammare is lively at summer and there are bars, chalets and shops. It is not a place spoiled by massive tourism and you will find a friendly athmosphere all around and an autentic glimpse of Italy. Restaurants in the surrounding as well as "trattorie" and "pizzerie" offer very good local food. Moreover the Villa is in the "Cilento National Park " (UNESCO world heritage site) therefore you could have lots of tours in evocative natural and historical places, whether in the mountains or to the sea. This stretch of the Tyrrhenian coast is rugged and unspoilt – a glimpse of the Amalfi of the past, before it was ‘discovered’. Take a boat trip from the delightful port at Scario to Porto Infreschi, passing caves and hidden coves en route and order a fresh seafood lunch from the boat-cum-restaurant which is moored in this tiny natural bay. Or drive south to see the impressive statue of Jesus high on a cliff top above Maratea. Breathtaking views from the hills covered with centuries-old cork oaks, trekking the mountains and cruising along the Cilento coast, mouth-watering regional cuisine and the special friendliness of the locals captivate visitors all year round.
