Our family home, which can be your holiday destination, is mostly vacant throughout the year as we live in Australia. The property is situated in a tranquil area that is free from traffic and congestion. Wake up in the morning and watch as the longest river (Mahaveli River) in Sri Lanka flow just meters from the property. You will be staying among a peaceful and welcoming community where majority of the families are Buddhist. Our close relatives and extended family, who are friendly and hospitable also live near the property. The property is also suitable for prospective students or University employees looking for short to medium term accommodation as the residence is located only 4kms of distance from the largest State owned University in Sri Lanka. The University of Peradeniya currently has around 15,000 active students and 2,000 staff. A large portion of the local residents in this area are either University employees or students. The remaining group of locals are mostly traditional farmers working on their own fields. So, you can be rest assured that you will be staying in a safe, sensible and welcoming community.
