I loved the place. People were very polite and helpful, the room delightful, the spot very convenient to explore the Medina. Also dinner was excellent.

Alaa the owner welcomed us and gave us a tour of the Dar as well as a hand drawn map to navigate the medina. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The meal they serve in the evening is very very good. Zohair ( apologies if spelled wrong) the evening manager was great. Easy access from Bab RCIF and close to tanneries. Our room was very nice.

Dar Seffarine is a haven in Fes - a wonderful place to relax after exploring the busy medina. It is incredibly peaceful and the owners have created a beautiful place to stay which feels like an extension of their home. Our family of 4 were staying in the 2 ground floor rooms which were very comfortable. Listening to the call to prayer each evening at sunset on the roof top terrace was our favourite moment each day. We also loved the “in house” dinners each evening. The owners were really flexible and were able to help with taxis, tours etc and we had a great guide for the medina. We would strongly recommend staying here.

Great experience with everyone there! It's a beautiful Riad! The architecture is incredible and the Rooms are extremely comfortable. So accommodating and responsive. Please try and stay there! The location is inside the medina (on the quieter side). Beautiful views. Also have dinner in the hotel. The food is delicious!

In all of Morocco this was the most impressive architecture we have encountered. Staying in it was a bonus but just visiting the building would have been worth it. It is marvelous. The roof terrace gives a great view, the bathrooms have great water pressure, the staff is very friendly and nice to talk to. We highly recommend booking the suite. Never have we ever seen are more magnificent room. We also recommend having dinner at the property at least once. It is such a nice experience, such magical atmosphere and very very good food. Don’t look further and book this property. You won’t regret It a second.

The owners and staff were friendly and encouraged guests to interact by providing large joint eating areas. We enjoyed this very much. The riad had been restored using many traditional methods and was beautiful. The food cooked on site was delicious.

This is a gorgeous building, full of history and beautifully restored. The rooftop is a haven of calm. The candlelit dinner in the covered courtyard felt very special and the food was made and presented with care. Note that meals are communal, which leads to discussions with fellow guests. This was definitely a plus, as Dar Seffarine seems to attract interesting, educated and well-travelled guests who were a pleasure to talk to, as were the hosts!
