Fantastic location in beautiful old town.
The staff was quite happy to help us, the location of the hotel was excellent, right in the heart of the city, the room was beautiful and it was just a perfect hotel for a young couple like us. The ultimate romantic, getaway place from the everyday life!
The breakfast could have been bigger for a 4* hotel, but it was delicious. The bar next to the hotel played loud music at night, but it wasn't that much of a problem, especially if you're a deep sleeper.
excellent location great theme/in keeping with the feel of the old city lovely staff mini bar spacious room
breakfast quite simple parking off site (short walk) due to pedestrianised town centre. No directions to get to car park.
Very friendly and helpful staff that speaks English. On arrival we were given a free bottle of wine for our honeymoon. Close to many restaurants. Lovely rooms.
Music from bar next store at night
It had very nice decor, perfect situation in the middle of the old town.
Quaint features and decor; good breakfast
The windows are not sound proof and there are lots of concerts and loud music so you will not get a good night's sleep.
- it is in the same theme with the town; bourgeois atmosphere. - there is no access with car (as it is in the old town where car traffic is restricted) but they have a deal with the parking across the canal and we did not pay at all (otherwise the parking is 0.8eur/hr); - very clean, they are offering slippers; - good and generous breakfast (buffet) We highly recommend this hotel
- the meal prices in the restaurant is a little bit expensive but with so many terraces you can have plenty of options; though I regret we didn't dinner there - hard to find; - a little bit noisy in the night when they had to clean the terrace
Location, superb food, nice room. And for noise, we like the ambience. Reminds us that life is going on!
What's not to like!
A little noise from close by bars
Charming hotel with very attentive and knowledgeable staff. Food in the restaurant was excellent. A real feel good environment.
The hotel was very charming and had a nice old touch while still being very clean. Perfect location in the old town with good breakfast and lovely staff. Would recommend to everyone and definitely stay again if I come back!!
First night was very loud as music was playing outside our window until 2 am (after which some loud guests were talking until 3 pm). Quiet the rest of our stay and slept like a baby.
Friendliness of staff Spacious rooms Delightfully decorated Helpfulness of staff, particularly at breakfast Wonderful position in old town
Fantastic location - right in the centre of Kotor old town Complementary parking facilities right outside the old town (in a place where finding a spot can be tricky) Decent restaurant (with free breakfast) 24 hour reception adn very friendly staff
Room a bit dark Not the cheapest in Kotor
This is a fantastic hotel in the old city of Kotor, easy to find with instructions, friendly and helpful reception, easy check out, excellent restaurant and wonderful breakfast. The room was lovely, charming, comfortable, and spotlessly clean.
I would say this, and many, hotels and accommodations on this coast of the Adriatic are maybe 20% overpriced for value. Noise from outside bars was very offensive, but mitigated by the closing of windows and use of AC, which I really did not want to do. I complained of course to the management but they have to live with the rest of the city too.
Both rooms were very clean. The made-to-order breakfast with the buffet was very good. We were 3 generations travelling together, and all were very happy with what we had.
The outdoor bar right below was loud even with all the windows closed. The apartment was supposed to come with a kitchenette, but it's only a small bar fridge with a sink.
Loved everything about this hotel-staff, location, service. The buffet breakfast is excellent. Beautiful building in the heart of old town. Will stay there again.
On a Friday night it can be a bit noisy from the music in the square if you leave your windows open.
Good central location in the Old Town. Friendly reception staff. Provided a free ride to the bus station whilst it was raining. Unique heritage design of the rooms.
Didn't have any umbrellas for use by hotel guests. TV reception was average, I was told this was due to the rain. Hard uncomfortable bed of which the bed linen was more suitable for a single bed in lieu of double bed. Expensive hotel restaurant. Poor breakfast. Noise at night from the adjacent bars.
No info over wifi accessibility
Central location, friendly & helpful staff, decent breakfast and easy to access free wifi.
Poor drainage in the old town meant the bathroom could smell a little. The bars nearby can be noisy - though not after 11 weekdays. The area was quite noisy into the early hours on public holidays and weekends.
Wonderful location in the old town. Small rooms, but that is to be expected with a historic building like this one. Nice décor.
Other reviewers have complained about the nighttime noise. We found closing the window and turning on the AC worked pretty well during the week, but Friday night was indeed quite loud. That said, any hotel or apartment in the old town is likely to be near live music on the weekends in Kotor
Noise from adjacent bars made sleep very difficult
The staff were lovely - rooms beautiful - breakfast was great. They even provided a free packed lunch on our departure day for the journey. Good location for sight seeing in Kotor.
The only downside was noise from the bar next door. Despite very good windows it was still intrusive if you are a light sleeper. I think this is a problem in much of old Kotor
Location-in old town but close to parking Helpful staff (laundry, breakfast, advise) Very comfortable and well maintained rooms
Lack of kettle in the room Laundry received was still wettish - problem since we were leaving Staff has no skills to make eggs for breakfast (neither fried nor omelet were done tastly) Small tea cups for breakfast I expected noise from outside but main challenge was that from corridor/reception - our room was vis a vis reception and doors weren't sound proof
Great location. Very typical.
Situated in a no car zone, far from public parking. Not great when it is raining and you have to carry your luggage....
great location for visiting old town, friendly staffs, delicious food in the restaurant...we really enjoyed time in this hotel
