Escarabajo Rojo,is a place,that born in 2017,as an eco friendly environment in the Quintana Roo jungle, in a beautiful town called Macario Gomez. It was designed by Laura Garcia from Querétaro; México and Michael Halloran from Melbourne; Australia. We, as project creators recognised the potential that lay within the unique soils of Macario Gomez jungle and we landed our ideas and desires into reality as a true expression of ourselves.Learning how to live in harmony with nature, tuning our spirits with the same frequency of our Mother Earth. Escarabajo Rojo our home too,remains a testament of beauty in their landscapes surrounded by the exotic singing of their birds combining a relaxing scenography with the exquisite Mayan architecture. Our mission is offering new experiences to our customers sharing with them the vibes of living in harmony with nature,learning together how to make a better world.

I am Mexican, specifically from Queretaro; Mexico, who enjoy the learning of living in harmony with nature. Creating a simple and beautiful life into the same frequency of this magical subtle energy.

We are located near a small town called Macario Gomez( one of the safest areas close to Tulum)in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo. To arrive here, you take the Tulum-Coba road to Km 21. As you drive though the town of Macario Gomez, there is a Mayan honey shop on the left side and then a little grocery shop (Mini Chuper) which has a replica Mayan pyramid at its front. Take the white road next to the grocery shop left and drive 700 meters to Escarabo Rojo with its distinctive stone wall and wooden gates. Macario Gómez is a town located in the great extension of Tulum jungle, where the Mayans keep their ancient heritage and language. It is also a very well connected area with important tourist centers such as Valladolid considered now as a magic town, the Coba pyramids and some of the most beautiful cenotes.
