There are many tourist attractions in this area, but one of the most striking attractions, the Ponta de São Jorge lighthouse, offers breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. The imposing cliffs and unique rock formations create a picturesque setting for nature lovers. The Church of St George is a religious building of cultural interest with charming architecture. Visitors can explore the interior of the church, admire the sacred art and learn about the region's rich cultural heritage. Another point of interest is the Núcleo Primitivo da freguesia de São Jorge, in Calhau de São Jorge, which houses the ruins of sugar cane mills built at the beginning of the island's settlement.
