House Zima is located in the wonderful village of Jezerci, which is known for its idyllic remote location, surrounded by forests, a stream and the Hvadnik waterfall. Due to its location, Martuljek Forest offers many opportunities for activities in nature, such as hiking, mountain biking, and in winter, skiing. Recently, the Hvadnik ferrata has become increasingly popular, which constantly surprises with charming views of the Julian Alps.
We are Manja and Ana, sisters who spent their childhood in Gozd Martuljek, where we come from. We would also like to share this wonderful and unique corner of the world with our guests. With Hi Zimi, we are starting a family story that combines tradition and passion. In addition to our professional orientation in marketing, advertising and tourism, we are both successful former hosts who are still enthusiastic about an active life.
Gozd Martuljek is a charming small village in Slovenia, located in the northwestern region of the country. Its location is both picturesque and strategic: it lies in the municipality of Kranjska Gora, near the Upper Sava Valley and is surrounded by the stunning Julian Alps. Martuljek Forest is especially known for its wonderful natural beauty. It lies south of Karavanki, which forms the natural border between Slovenia and Austria. On the south side of the village reigns the mighty Špik mountain group. The village itself lies in the middle of green meadows and forests, which create an idyllic landscape. One of the main attractions of this area are Martuljški waterfalls, which are divided into Zgornja and Spodnja Martuljkov falls. The path to the falls also leads into a beautiful forest and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountain peaks.
