As a recommendation of our host, Konyali kebab restaurant was delicious, we went there three times!! Also the fish restaurant right by the sea with a gorgeous sunset was also brilliant - it's called Körfez. Enjoy! Quite a lot going on in this town, lots of pharmacies which was helpful to us, but just in general nice and buzzing :)

Very beautiful and green islands in distance of 1-3 KMs. Lots of restaurants nearby, very good fresh seafood offered. Turgetreis full of friendly helpful locals. Great prices, excellent value for your money. Nearby places to visit Akyarlar with amazing beach and Gumusluk for a laid back bohemian day and fabulously lit in the evening. Downside to Turgetreis is the large amount of stray dogs wandering the streets and not so friendly!
