Beautiful rooms, fabulous staff. Restaurants were amazing, second visit to an Ikos property and did not disappoint. You can do as much or as little as you like here, lots of activities bikes, canoes, walks, swimming, wine tasting, or as little as you like. Enough private spaces with the upgraded rooms to give a feeling of space. We were here at end of the season and the staff were still amazing. Book your restaurants, car hire, spa etc in advance as they will book out.

Our breakfast was excellent! Avocado toast with tomatoes and sautéed mushrooms. Loved It! For dinner I had the grilled Octopus dish and I have to say it was the best Octopus I ever had. wonderful! The Sweet helpful man that helped us at reception was incredible. Thank you!

Lango is such a special, easeful place to stay, managed and staffed by exceptionally warm people and situated 20 mins walk from town. We spent 10 days there in September, and could happily have stayed longer. It is worth staying for the sunsets alone - phenomenal every single evening, truly romantic. The rooms are clean and have all you need. The pool is bigger than you'd expect for such a small hotel, and the beds comfy. The private beach was rarely busy, and just across the road from the hotel. The sea there is very shallow, so good for less confident swimmers. Christos who brought lunch and drinks from the bar was always really friendly. Breakfast at Lango has everything you could possibly need, and when I asked I was able to get both lactose free yoghurt and gluten free milk. Epistemi and the other staff at breakfast couldn't have been more welcoming and lovely to chat to. Dinner is exceptional (especially dessert), though rich and a little pricey so maybe not one for every night. The gym has exactly what you might need to keep things ticking over if you're a regular gym user, and was rarely busy. Overall Lango is one of those places where all the little touches, and the warmth from everyone who works there, Zinet, Savvas and everyone else, really makes it feel like the break you need. Would love to stay again!

Lango is such a special, easeful place to stay, managed and staffed by exceptionally warm people and situated 20 mins walk from town. Breakfast at Lango has everything you could possibly need, and when I asked I was able to get both lactose free yoghurt and gluten free milk. Epistemi and the other staff at breakfast couldn't have been more welcoming and lovely to chat to. Dinner is exceptional (especially dessert), though rich and a little pricey so maybe not one for every night. The gym has exactly what you might need to keep things ticking over if you're a regular gym user, and was rarely busy. Overall Lango is one of those places where all the little touches, and the warmth from everyone who works there, Zinet, Savvas and everyone else, really makes it feel like the break you need. Would love to stay again!

It was accepted because it was a last minute booking and entertainment restaurant’s etc needed. Recommend Patrikos restaurant. Also just nearby was a restaurant that used vinyl records to show their menu. Great for breakfast and 5 star evening meal. Just can’t remember its name!

Loved walking around in the city center and having lunch...

Loved walking around in the city center and having lunch here during the day, but we mostly had dinner along the beach. Lots of things to see, many boat trips (3 Island Trip with the Oddysey and Nisyros trip highly recommended). Beach: We loved going to Tarzan and using their sunbeds. Also recommend renting a bike and touring for a day. Number 1 restaurant: The Chasapaki

Kos is a fascinating town with ancient Roman ruins everywhere and a great selection of shops and restaurants! Avoid the strip along the beach where it’s quite gritty and scruffy, we got the bus most days to other beaches as we got a bit sick of the busyness of the town. If we return we will stay in Kardamena or Kefalos instead

Kos was one of the most visitor friendly island.

Kos was one of the most visitor friendly island. The large sidewalks and bike lanes were impressive. The post barriers along streets also great. the benches along Marina provided umbrellas for shade. That was a first! It is a well thought out plan for people. Walkable. Restaurants were diverse and delicious. The one thing missing was traditional live Greek music playing in restaurants or an outdoor venue.

I mostly stayed near Kos Town and walked everywhere,...

I mostly stayed near Kos Town and walked everywhere, averaging about 40k steps a day. I highly recommend learning to ride a bike or, even better, a motorcycle. Renting a car is a good choice, but parking can be tricky.

The most outstanding experience of Kos town was the people.

The most outstanding experience of Kos town was the people. Everywhere we went we met kind, friendly and generous people. Everything in Kos town is within walking distance from the beach to the old town. Numerous restaurants cater for every need from a simple Gyros to exceptional seafood dishes.

We enjoyed our stay at Gelli Apartments very much. The owner Panagiotis (Pete) is a wonderful host, his knowledge of Kos is extremely helpful and from the moment we arrived he made us feel like we were part of the family. The apartments are clean and comfortable. The location is also fantastic being only a 10min walk from the centre of Kos town while also being far enough away that it is very quite and relaxing. Definitely recommend.

The location is perfect, a short walk from Kos centre, with lots of coffee and bread shops nearby. It is also very quiet, and plenty of free parking. Brand new, everything in pristine condition, great for self catering, with ground floor access. The interaction of the staff,, owner,, was exceptional, and always available to help if needed. Places like this are truly hard to come by. Would certainly recommend.

A family run hotel with the most charming and warm welcome. We were very well looked after with such care that was really touching. The room was newly refurbished and very comfortable. The location is fantastic and feels like the heart of Kos town.
