IrelandWe had a great stay here and the location was perfect in the old town but just off of the busy streets so it was nice and quiet at night. The staff were all friendly and helpful especially Irene who gave great recommendations for what to do and where to eat and was so friendly and chatty. The breakfast each morning was delicious and fresh. The room itself was gorgeous, it was clean and very comfortable. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

South AfricaDue to our flight being cancelled at the last minute, Toula was kind enough to swop our dates, as well as allowing us the drop our suitcases on the day, to give us a chance to walk around. The accommodation could not be situated in a better position, as it is close to the restaurants but far enough away to give a quiet nights sleep. Hotel is beautiful and very clean. Staff also wonderful.and incredibly helpful.

We enjoyed our stay in Rhodes town and visited the old town on numerous occasions. We loved the history and architecture, especially the Grand Masters Palace which was very interesting. The harbours were busy but beautiful and full of boat excursions to other parts of the island and other islands and a few submarines too. If you're a shopaholic this is the place for you! There are so many streets filled with independent sellers and familiar brands like Sketchers, H&M, Boss, Lacost etc. you're bound to return home a few quid lighter! There's also a huge array of restaurants and bars to visit.

How to sum up Rhodes?
How to sum up Rhodes? Very busy, quite touristy but with enough interesting architecture and history to make it worthwhile.
Also, if you like roman mosaics then the Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights of Rhodes has lots. These were taken from villas on Kos.
Try and escape the town and see more of the island. It’s a bit less frantic.

Boat trip to Symi was lovely. We ate in restaurants in the old town and never had a bad meal. Walked everywhere.

The old town is very compact and easy to navigate.The only negative is the cruise ships which mean thousands of people crowding down the main shopping streets. But it is possible to avoid them by choosing the side streets which run parallel to the main arteries.

Rhodes Town is basically a shopping centre with some interesting ruined buildings. I hated the crowds and the endless shops selling incredibly expensive tourist stuff. I spent 2 nights and one day there and wish I could have left sooner.

Allow enough time to really enjoy the old town, and many other historical areas as well. Use Rhodes as a base to catch ferry to many other places for day trips. Symi island is fantastic.
There is something wrong with the taxi system and it was actually impossible to get a taxi on more than one ocassion. This actually spoilt some of our time there.

We spent a week here in October with our 8-month-old son and absolutely loved it! We had rented a car at the airport and were at the apartment within minutes. Rhodes Town was also very easy to get to. We also found it ideal that we could order breakfast, lunch and dinner from local restaurants whenever we wanted. The apartment was also fully equipped and very clean! We loved the jacuzzi. On top of that, Irene is super friendly and attentive. We want to thank her very much for all the good care!

Just off the centre, so very quiet and relaxed, but a stone's throw from the main streets, this apartment is in the perfect location in the old town. It is spacious with two very comfortable double beds, well appointed ktichen and spacious bathroom with washing machine.
But the best thing about it is the beautiful garden. In the apartment we were in, we had a lovely little terrace at the top of the stairs, but there are also places to sit in the garden. All in all a gorgeous place to stay.

Reception staff were welcoming,
pleasant and efficient.
I was given a well equipped room on level 5.
Great sea view and spacious balcony.
The town centre was walkable, but the footpaths were very rough and uneven.
Easy bus transport in front of the hotel to the town centre and the Old City.
HOHO Bus stop was in front of the hotel.
Great breakfast, many food choices.
Would definitely return, if again in Rhodes.
The pool area was small.
Need to be early to get a sun lounge.

Friendly helpful staff (we could put our big cases at their larger hotel 5 mins away while we explored city until late pm ferry.)
