This more isolated part of Tanzania is worthwile to visit. Nice swims in the Tanganika lake. I recommend you to go to the Gombe chimpansees reserve. We stayed a night over there, in nice tents on the beach. Staying a night in Gombe is recommend above a one day visit. You feel much more the atmosphere of being there.
