We loved the breakfast, cleanliness, friendly staff, and free drinks in the evening. We liked the option of happy hour snacks but didn't get to try it.

The worst stay ever.
The worst stay ever. Room was dirty and fealty, towels from the previous guest was in the bathroom, shower curtain was dirty and it was backwards, hair was in the tub and sink, the sheets were fealty and dirty and when I ask could the sheets and towels be change and showed them why, the staff and housekeeper had the worst attitude ever and gave me the sheets so I could change them myself. The elevator never worked and a guest was stuck on there for 15 min, they never gave me service to clean the room the breakfast was horrible, the eggs were watery, the biscuits were hard, the sauce were rubbery. I felt like this was a cabin. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS HOTEL, ITS THE WORST.

Plenty of other facilities in the same block, keep looking to book something much better Wyndham properties needs to take a long hard look at their facility - I would not recommend it - no breakfast offered, pool is closed, electronic key does not work at the side doors, they have unsavory people living there that hang out on the side of the building with their dogs, smoking & cussing the whole time. The whole facility is filthy and not well maintained at all, much better places in the same block as this property.

Nice smaller town just outside of STL.
Nice smaller town just outside of STL. You don't have to leave the Pontoon Beach/Granite City area if you don't want to. Restaurants, shopping, salon services, gas stations are all near by. We love going to Don Chencho Mexican restaurant. Close to Cahokia Mounds.

2nd time visiting, nice town close to Granite City, St Louis, Edwardsville and Troy. We stay here to keep from paying the St Louis hotel prices and for the smaller town atmosphere. We just got home and have already booked our next trip. We've eaten at Don Chencho Mexican restaurant both times- super good food and friendly staff.

The place needs to be updated.
The place needs to be updated. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling, room smelled terrible, bathroom sink drain wouldn't drain, carpets were gross, pool was dirty, patio had junk sitting all over it, hot tub was shut down, they told us there was breakfast and there wasn't.

Staff was great and friendly, answered all questions, gave us a little later check out. Our room was great, we mainly just got the room for an impromptu trip for my boyfriends birthday. 15mins from Downtown STL. And the price was unbeatable with the exceptions of motels, but there was a pool and breakfast.
Definitely recommend. Went to eat at Small Batch, which 10/10 recommend as well, it is moderately fancy.
And went to Paddy-os and that was our first time there as well and it was great.
To have the name Wyndham attached to this hotel is a serious disservice to the name Wyndham. The room is nice but overall the hotel is a bit rundown and could use some serious investment in it. I do like the fact that my room had the vinyl floor and not carpet. The holes that are carpet it desperately need replaced. The bed was nice and the sheets and everything were terrific. The pool and hot tub area was less than desirable but I got what I needed which was a nice bed and it was close to my destination and the staff was nice.
The staff!!! so helpful. Before we checked in, the staff member looked at our 3 small kids and told us the pool was closed. he proceeded to help us find the closest hotel with a pool, calling the hotel for us and then helping us cancel our room for free. Go La Quinta!!!
Someone made our plates for us and was so nice! If we were to ever travel back that way, we would stay here for sure. The hotel check in was easy. The guy there that checked me in was so nice and friendly. Even at 10 at night. Also no too far away from St.Louis.
The staff were super nice. We had complications and they worked with us which in fact helped us alot. The staff were probably the nicest I've ever met at any other hotel I've ever stayed at so I have no complaints there.
I left the HOTEL, not a very friendly place to do business with. I was deceived when calling the Hotel for info in regards to the pool and jacuzzi as well as the handicapped access
