A little bit noisy, but actually our window was located on local street, so not that bad at all
Ask for queen bed..and gave me a full size..
The person at the FD (night audit, unfortunately don't remember his name), was very helpful! He provided us an excellent service! Gave us the best brand-new room, opened the kitchen, so we can drink, so thank him very much!
The bed was a little bit firm, but everything else was great!
Stuff friendly, clean room.
Dont take room to the highway side, impossible to sleep - loud. Breakfast- just bread & waffles and banana. Rooms smels.
Super helpful and friendly front desk Staff. Special Thanks To Mr. George (GM).Free wi-fi, free parking, free breakfast.. It is hard to have them at the same time. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was not at the center but we had a rent car already. Recommending for families. We took extra stay after returning from San Diego
No Lift , but Thanks to Mr. George , help us to take the luggage to the Room. If you can increase the Break Fast selection it would be nice.
Friendly Staff 24 hour front desk Plenty of street parking when parking lot is full. Room has plenty of electrical outlets!
Hotel parking lot is small. No secure WiFi Shows signs of age, but still ok
Cleanliness, aircon, fridge, coffee machine, breakfast offered
No security box, location is on a main road (some noise but not too bad). Downtown is interesting for LA history but run down. A lot of homeless people further down the road, but not where the hotel is. Advise not to walk around downtown at night, just in case, although we did so and were OK.
Besides the fact that we got an excellent deal for the money, the young lady at the reception was extremely nice, kind and helpful. Highly recommend this location.
Not many restaurants at walking distance. Actually, we found only one. Still, it takes few driving minutes to get downtown.
The room was really nice and comfortable and the housekeeping staff ensured that it was kept that way. The location was also great for my business trip.
The room was clean and the bed was surprisingly very comfortable.
The location left a lot to be desired. And having to carry heavy bags up a narrow staircase made me appreciate elevators even more.
We are very disappointed from this hotel. It is in very unfriendly district and close to highway - we could not sleep at all. The noise is to loud. In addition before our arrival we requested erlier ckeck in and we receive wtitten confirmation about it but when we arrieved we were informed that this is not possible and the hotel dies not garantee erlier check in at all despite our printed written confirmation for that.
Pleasant and helpful staff.
We asked if we could come from the station and check in early. The train from new Orleans arrives around 6.30 a.m. You sent an email to confirm that our request was confirmed. We were surprised and pleased. When we arrived the gentleman on the desk said that the word "confirmed" meant only that the request had arrived. I think it would help if you wrote that one would have to wait until a room was available after someone had checked out. That way, no surprises. In our case, all worked out . We were given a room about 9.30 and beforehand had been offered breakfast.
Depending of your main activity and point of interest the location of the facility could be equally good or bad as travel distance in LA is always high. Travel time varies but can be considered to be fair in comparison with European standard rush hour experience. The staff and the management were really and truly helpful in all possible ways.
Unfortunately the facility is located very close to a busy freeway (in-town highway) which suffers from constant and heavy traffic. As a result the sleep quality is very low and windows cannot open in any part of the day due to the heavy noise.
Location Staff Cleanliness
We stayed in a disabled room so we didn't see the rest of the hotel. We didn't have to. The room we stayed in was cconvinient but we had down and outs outsde our room through the night. It was dingy and uninviting. We were so glad we only booked one night.
+ Free wifi + Free secure parking (not many lots though) + Free breakfast
breakfast handling questions at the reception parking space
sometimes bad connection WiFi
It was private. Basic.
The slamming doors you can hear....
Super helpful and friendly front desk was always there when I had an issue. No waiting for someone to fix a problem either. Must have had to see them everyday for one reason/request or another. Always met me with a smile and a "yes". Even had minor card problems checking in (forgot to tell them I was traveling) and they worked with me. A larger hotel WOULD NOT do that!
A.C. in room was extremely noisy. Hard to sleep with it on, but otherwise the room was too hot. I suggest sleeping pills. Little quirks of the room throw you off (switch for TV, backwards water) but once explained not a big deal.
Clean Localization People It was worth it
Internet was not functioning the last day
Parking for first coming Room bad Noise I don t appreciate
Very Large Newly Remodeled Room . Nice Flat Screen TV w/Direct TV Great quiet A/C with Remote HUGE Balcony with double sliding doors that block out 90%est. fwy noise. Awesome new very comfortable mattress (pillowtop), 3 pillows on each queen bed Very clean & still had a slight smell of paint from recent remodel. Made to order fresh waffles for breakfast Secure Parking Garage Fridge Housekeeping staff very friendly & professional Towels were pristine & smelled great! Bed linens were extremely clean looking & smelling...very comfortable thread count.
The bathrooms were clean but NOT remodeled with remainder of room. The countertops were small & very worn, The sides of the shower/tub combo were clean but had that old moldy look that should have been replaced when the room was remodeled. Like I said it was Clean & smelled Fresh. There were no overheadlights in the room & lamp between the 2 beds had a least 4 lights on it with separate switches that combined was not enough light to read with. Corner lamp was dim Couldn't leave sliding glass doors open for outside air because the freeway is very close & very very loud. There are double sliding doors installed to block out most of the sound. Dark narrow hallways! One soda vending machine with cans only at a fair price of $1 that wouldnt take dollar bills, only quarter & nite staff wouldnt change out bills for coins claiming not to have any change, 3 hours later....still no change...machine was known by staff to only take coins...should have immediately have someone go get quarters in no more than 30 mins. I paid $112 total with taxes for a double queen room in a sketchy area seems a bit high for me regardless of it being a Saturday nite. Its also Sept...back to regular pricing vs.summers overelevated pricing
Easily walk to downtown. Adequate and secure parking area.
