Comfy king size bed and a fridge
Breakfast of bread and more bread. coffee of dubious quality
My boyfriend and I stayed here during spring break. We're on a budget but I didnt want to stay at a Motel 6 so we stayed here. Best choice ever. We were welcomed by two excellent staff members who made check-in easy peasy. The lady treated us just like her friend - she even showed us pictures of her daughter. But that's besides the point. Our room was cute and cozy. Huge bed. Flat screen. Wi-fi. Fridge. They all worked. Breakfast ends at 10:30 but we went down around 11 to see if they were still serving, but the lady (DeDe) was already cleaning up. She still let us get coffee and use the waffle maker though.
Walkable to French Quarter. Nice Room. Good deal. Good breakfast.
Took awhile for hot water to work properly.
location to coffee "Who Dat" and Frenchmen St
Bed did not have fitted sheets. Fought with that each night waking up with sheets tangled laying on raw mattress. Woke up first day with bug bits on my fingers and my neck. Daughter had same bug bites on her whole body. WIFI was awful; signal was slow and then it would cut off and we had to sign in again. Sometimes losing where we were.
Cris, an excellent concierge!!Thank you for your outstanding service.Great location
Do not leave The French Quarter area by The Inn you will enter the hood.
The location was excellent and the breakfast they served was delicious and the front desk man whi stayed during the night was very polite and nice/
We had to check out and check in twice, which means that we had to carry our suitcases every day and leave them at the front desk. The lady who was at this time at the front desk was rude and she told us that she would give us a call when the room was ready, what she never did. So we walked all day waiting for a call to come back to the hotel. When it got dark we realize that she would never call and we just came back.
- La situation géographique (pas loin du French Quarter) - Le personnel (special thanks to Emirhan, helpful, smiling, he made our stay more enjoyable after having suffered some discomfort with the rest of the hotel staff)
- un peu vieillot comme hôtel, un coup de neuf dans les chambres ne serait pas de trop (très bruyant)
The free parking was nice and we always found a spot. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and just how we imagined it. Good value for location.
There was no hair dryer in the room. The bed was a little too stiff for us.
The staff was nice but the inn was horrible. The inn may be successful if they did a total renovation. (when rating the hotel you see 3.3 but it's incorrect....should be a 2.0)
Great stay in French Quarter the staff were fantastic nice walk to Bourbon Street and attractions Loved it
Quiet area. Close to certain bars. Maids very friendly.
Not bad, but no phones in rooms. I do not use cells.
Staff was amazing. The hotel was clean and so adorable. It was a short walk to bourbon st and far enough away to sleep at night.
Really good price, decent location. Quite an 'oldie worldie' place and a bit eerie but we found it very amusing. Booked the deluxe suite and had about 10 beds in the room-ironic as we were taking a night off from a hostel and staying in a dorm! Lovely shower.
The room we were in was cold, the heaters didn't have much effect, luckily because of all the other beds in our room we had lots of blankets to use!
Location was good. Nothing else to compliment.
Nothing worked. No heat. Power failed five times. Lousy service. Mixed bag of ludicrous excuses for everything.
The staff were great.
No closet space. Very very expensive (Mardi Gras) I suppose. Poor shower and bath. Continental breakfast was awful-together with no electricity because of re-modelling.
Short walk to french quarter10 mins
Walls thin in room could hear people next door like they were in with us unusual bath room set up the partition in room open so no privacy shoer had NO pressure
The staff was polite, and the location was good.
Early check in was not an option. I traveled with my 3 year daughter on a Thursday. Housekeeping was with maintenance checking the heat in the rooms. My heat was not working. They said they would come back to see if it worked. After returning later on that night I turned the power button on the heater and fell asleep. I woke up several hours later to discover the heat still wasn't working. My daughter and I had to sleep in a very cold room. The office closed at 11 p.m., so nobody was able to fix the problem. Within 24 hours my daughter was sick. I will not return to this establishment. The morning front desk assosciate apologized, but at that point it didn't mean anything because I had already told them the heat wasn't working.
Genuine New Orleans atmosphere. Free outdoor breakfast.
A bit off the beaten path, best for younger travelers. Room had no window and was stuffy. Desperately needed a screen door for ventilation.
We where lucky, we had a renovated room! The inventory was so cute and had so much character! I loved the breakfast area! So much Charme! And the breakfast was good too! The area couldn't be better, 10 min walk from french market! Perfekt!
At night the area looks a little bit creepy, but during the day, its a fancy neighborhood!
It was in such a convenient location. Room was much more than I anticipated for the low rate we paid. I would definitely stay here again, it's a pleasant surprise how clean and comfortable things were because we were anticipating so much less because of the very reasonable price. I don't know that I'd stay here for a special occasion, but for a regular trip to New Orleans, it can't be beat. We'll definitely recommend it to friends,
My only complaints were the thin, scratchy towels and the fact that there was no mattress pad on the bed (which I've never seen before). Nothing major, just things I would do differently if I were running this inn.
The location is nearly perfect. You can reach so many things (Bourbon Street, French Market, complete French Quarter) with just a short walk!
The wifi didn't work all the time.
