Great vibe, nice staff, amazing location. Everything went great! Many thanks to Christopher for the city tips and for making us feel at home!

Friendly staff, great location only 5 mins walk from Frenchmen St and the French Quarter. The Inn has had a lot of use and us a bit worn but for the money is an excellent option for anyone in a budget. Safe and clean.

The hotel room was advertised as a deluxe suite, and was anything but – see photos showing state of bathroom in particular. The area outside the room had originally been covered with green surface. This was peeling and a definite trip hazard. The room was not cleaned to a high standard and the bathroom was dirty, with dated bathroom suite. Breakfast was provided but the hotel photos of breakfast area (with tablecloths, etc.) are misleading. Polystyrene plates and plastic cutlery - poor choice of food/drink. (I wish i had checked reviews thoroughly before I booked) I have contacted the hotel directly about this and they say renovations are to take place. However, when looking back reviews of this hotel, I can ssee that they have been saying this to other gurests for sometime now.
Reception clerk at check in was polite.

The other guest were very respectful and nice and the courtyard was very nice

Could have used room-darkening shades to block the (necessary and appreciated) security lighting at night.
A short walk to the French Quarter, but in a quiet neighborhood full of charming cottages and shotgun houses. Super helpful staff. Very comfortable bed and updated bath. The breezy breakfast area.

Only negative is thin walls, but a good clean value.
I had to go to New Orleans for business on short notice during jazz fest....good luck finding a place right?? So I branched out of the chains for Olde Town. Only about 6 blocks from French Quarter and 5 blocks to jazz on Frenchman St.

Deluxe Suite ended up with 4 beds, ended up only using one but I appreciated the choices. Super quiet off the quarter

My only problem was that my room's door shifted after a torrential rainstorm and wouldn't latch. They had it fixed when I got back that evening.
Cool, funky, real New Orleans place close to Frenchmen Street and the Quarter. Great value for its location. Nice rooms and cool furnishings. Why stay at a cookie-cutter chain by the airport when this is available for the same or less money?

Breakfast looked pretty meager overall, no protein. And the walls are pretty thin, you can hear other people.
Great place, felt like I was back in South America. In a good way.. Outdoor breakfast dining, the staff were really friendly. Found parking really quickly, and also only 7-8 blocks from the French Quarter. The A/C blew super cold, I was in 304 and it was great with one king.

Staff were real humans. No fake smiles.

My boyfriend and I stayed here during spring break. We're on a budget but I didnt want to stay at a Motel 6 so we stayed here. Best choice ever. We were welcomed by two excellent staff members who made check-in easy peasy. The lady treated us just like her friend - she even showed us pictures of her daughter. But that's besides the point. Our room was cute and cozy. Huge bed. Flat screen. Wi-fi. Fridge. They all worked. Breakfast ends at 10:30 but we went down around 11 to see if they were still serving, but the lady (DeDe) was already cleaning up. She still let us get coffee and use the waffle maker though.

Took awhile for hot water to work properly.
Walkable to French Quarter. Nice Room. Good deal. Good breakfast.

Bed did not have fitted sheets. Fought with that each night waking up with sheets tangled laying on raw mattress. Woke up first day with bug bits on my fingers and my neck. Daughter had same bug bites on her whole body. WIFI was awful; signal was slow and then it would cut off and we had to sign in again. Sometimes losing where we were.
location to coffee "Who Dat" and Frenchmen St

Cris, an excellent concierge!!Thank you for your outstanding service.Great location

We had to check out and check in twice, which means that we had to carry our suitcases every day and leave them at the front desk. The lady who was at this time at the front desk was rude and she told us that she would give us a call when the room was ready, what she never did. So we walked all day waiting for a call to come back to the hotel. When it got dark we realize that she would never call and we just came back.
The location was excellent and the breakfast they served was delicious and the front desk man whi stayed during the night was very polite and nice/

- un peu vieillot comme hôtel, un coup de neuf dans les chambres ne serait pas de trop (très bruyant)
- La situation géographique (pas loin du French Quarter) - Le personnel (special thanks to Emirhan, helpful, smiling, he made our stay more enjoyable after having suffered some discomfort with the rest of the hotel staff)
March 8, 2015
There was no hair dryer in the room. The bed was a little too stiff for us.
The free parking was nice and we always found a spot. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and just how we imagined it. Good value for location.
March 4, 2015
The staff was nice but the inn was horrible. The inn may be successful if they did a total renovation. (when rating the hotel you see 3.3 but it's incorrect....should be a 2.0)

Not bad, but no phones in rooms. I do not use cells.
Quiet area. Close to certain bars. Maids very friendly.

Staff was amazing. The hotel was clean and so adorable. It was a short walk to bourbon st and far enough away to sleep at night.

The room we were in was cold, the heaters didn't have much effect, luckily because of all the other beds in our room we had lots of blankets to use!
Really good price, decent location. Quite an 'oldie worldie' place and a bit eerie but we found it very amusing. Booked the deluxe suite and had about 10 beds in the room-ironic as we were taking a night off from a hostel and staying in a dorm! Lovely shower.
