I like how the look of the downtown buildings. .
The TV was a old style CRT the bathtub was so small too
Staff at the reception are not that friendly. They don't even know how to smile. The walls are too thin that you could here the laughter of guests at the other rooms.
Housekeeping service is very poor. All 3 rooms for my family were dirty.
Free breakfast, good location, friendly staff, good size room, big bed. Would definately stay again!
Location was good and the beds and the breakfast was good.
The smell of the room and the restroom most of the towels were dingy and for some reason the floors were never swept right. and there was no laundry room for guest we had to go else where not good.
Friendliness of staff and location.
Location and value for the money. It was a comfortable stay
Curtains, either you d have to close the thick non transparent curtains getting room dark, or leave the room exposed to the street. Nothing in between, no net curtain.
Location of the property, staff, complimentary airport shuttle, tv and wifi inside the room
noise of the room
Very helpfull staff and good location to explore San Diego.
1.The bath was poorly laid out with no outlets for hair irons by the mirrors. 2. the bed had a bad spring that would stick us in the back. 3. The room had a stale odor that did not leave the three days we were there. 4. The floors were dirty.
The walking distance to the gaslamp and the affordable price....
All of the major viewing points ( gas lamp district, port, little Italy) are in a walking distance of 10 to 15min. Zoo and Sea World approx. 3 to 4 miles away.
Front desk gave us a map of places near by. It has a parking garage below which was very nice and secure. Dogs stay free!
The room could have had a small table with two chairs because we had takeout and had to eat on the bed or at the desk. Nice big room and it had the space for it.
Wifi didn't work properly
Breakfast And the flexibility for the late check out
The room wasn't clean completely every day. The elevator was also not so clean and fast.
Price was ok but would have paid more if I'd known what we were getting.
Floor was sticky and dirty. Room very bare feeling. Old TV. Just not a comfy room.
The Bathroom was small.
Cost of parking 16 dollars night
Liked the downtown locale without a downtown price. Manager was kind with a comp. when our room wasn't ready on time.
Thin walls, loud neighbors, sand and yucky stuff under nightstand and beds' dust ruffle when we got into the room, so was never cleaned up between customers. Breakfast room was a disaster the second day we stayed there.
rumors we couldn't sleep all the night dirty
Location was my choice for what I was there for
Bathroom sinks were clogged up and cleaning staff did not even sweep my room once
The front desk staff knows that the hotel is noisy and overly-busy, but they are kind and professional when people complain.
1. Too much money for parking in the tiny lot where the car is in danger of getting dented every time someone gets out of an adjacent car. 2. The rooms have very little soundproofing. 3. THIS IS NOT A BUSINESS HOTEL- tailored for young college kids, 3-6 per room, who sing, drink, play loud music and stay up all night wandering around and smoking on the public balconies, calling down to their friends in the parking lot all night.
the bed makes noise everytime you move.
The late night staff was very friendly and accommodating to our late arrival time. The free continental breakfast was much better than at other motels. The room was much bigger than I thought it would be and it was very clean and comfortable.
The complimentary airport shuttle stops at 9pm - Booking.com didn't mention that on their site and when I called the motel to ask they didn't mention it either.
