Mark & Janelle are super friendly hosts and were so helpful with recommendations for local hiking, food and everything else we asked about! Our room was like a friendly hug after a long day - warm, cosy & comfortable and well furnished, lovely hot shower, and an incredibly comfortable bed. Fridge, microwave & coffee maker proved useful too. Moose print pillowcases totally sealed the deal for me!! Serenity Motel isn't too near to anything so if you like to be central don't stay here but if you like peace and quiet it's just perfect!

They were individual wooden cabins each with a place to park next to the cabin and a porch with table & chairs for a couple to sit and relax. We sat watching the sun go down through the trees and were just far enough away from the road that there wasnt intrusive noise. It was a really lovely experience. The rooms themselves were basic yet clean and functional, with an AC/heater thermostat to keep things nice and cosy as the temperature dropped at night.

Janelle was the sweetest and she gave us many tips on what to see in the area! We arrived late because of NYC traffic but we just called in to let them know ahead and we were still able to check in no problem. The cabin was very cozy and had everything you could need.

We had the last cottage by the forest and it was gorgeous. The location was top and there is so much to see in the area. The super friendly hosts are also happy to give tips here, highly recommended. Great hosts, great cottages and great value for money. There is nothing to complain about. If we should be in the area again, we will be very happy to check in there again. Absolutely recommendable.

Fantastic cottages built in the 1920s. Very, very clean Super to be able to picnic on the front deck. Outside tables and bbq supplied too. Staff really friendly knowledgeable about the area and even gave me a map! Great value too. Wish he could have stayed 2 nights we loved this property’s

The quaint cottages were just what we needed for a good nights rest in the country before continuing on our trip. It was so satisfying to not having to hear noises for an adjoining motel unit through the walls. The amenities were perfect.
