Kim and Matt are married with four grown children and three grandchildren between them. Each has worked at an executive level for nonprofit organizations for several decades and bring deep experience and servant hearts to the inn. Kim is an amazing cook and hostess and an avid and accomplished gardener. Matt is very active at his local church and enjoys road and mountain biking. The Inn at Onancock is located in a Victorian house built in 1886 and rests in a quiet bay side village on the eastern shore of Virginia. Each of the five rooms has a meticulously kept and adorned en suite. There is a very short walk (less than 5 minutes) to the Onancock deep wharf which leads directly into the Chesapeake Bay. There are two fine dining restaurants and several casual eateries and pubs very close by. Each day begins with a full gourmet breakfast and the day eases into evening with our signature Wine Down hour that provides guests the opportunity to relax before heading out to dinner with fresh hors d'oeuvres and select paired wines and beers; all included in your daily room rate.
